yes the trailer was 7 yrs old on dealer lot. he got stuck with it when recession hit & just let it set. the wheels were repacked before the Texas trip by a professional mechanic & I saw the work performed. I took the unit to a trailer shop today & they found I had 3 of the 4 wheel spindles were bent. they were not dexter axles either. They are 7000# axles & unit weight 12780.My 2012 ford F350 dually & unit weighs just under 25000 with truck right at 10000. I have goodyear G614 tires so that is not an issue' I will be replacing both axles with dexters & watching my weight as it appears the axle are near their maximum.273Views0likes0Commentsaxle problem
Have a 2005 Landmark Grand Canyon 37' purchased new from dealer in 2012. Have made trips to west & NE US with no problems. Trip last month to Texas lost complete wheel.rim & hub doing damage to rv. After temporary repairs ,no problems until return trip & lost 2 grease caps. On trip to rv dealer to get estimate on body damage lost another grease cap & bearing.
