The last outing with it, it wouldn't fire up. What I've covered so far. Turn the switch on inside, the red light on the panel comes on right away but goes off as it goes through it's lighting process. Gas valve clicks and there's gas flow- I can smell it. But no ignitor. After about 5 seconds it clicks again and shirts the gas off. Repeats two more times with the same results. When the gas is on I can light it with a lighter and it fires right up with a good flame but then it shuts the gas off. Tried a new ignitor with no change. Connections are all clean and even ran an additional ground wire from the top of the housing where the factory ground wire hooks up down to the bracket for the ignitor. Still no change. The control box looks like there is two LED lights on it. Are they supposed to light up? What am I missing? Any help would be great. Or, maybe I didn't. Are you asking for a way to keep the storage compartments closed part time so that you do not always have to turn the key? If so, maybe a home kitchen cabinet latch or magnet would do the trick temporarily ??? Then you can replace your key latch for when you want a more permanent closure like when going down the road. I only have 2 outside compartments so I just leave the key in the latch until I'm ready to travel. Then I pull it out and hang it on a hook just inside the TT door where I can reach it from the ground. Yes, you read it right. Ideally I would like some way for them to be securely closed but unlocked and then key locked when needed. One compartment already has a thumb lock plus a key lock. They other three doors are smaller and only have one lock in the center.Re: Storage compartment latch/locksTried the lube. No luck. The one key we got when we bought the camper is hard to use and the copies are harder yet to work.
