Having said that, I will never give up my old Boost Mobile 'pay as you go' account, on an ancient grandfathered plan, with 35 cents per day 3G Internet, with no caps. After the 5% off of refill cards with my Target REDCard, monthly service averages out to $10.13 per month. At best, it can pull down about 1 GB per hour.Re: Millenicom replacementWell that's... unfortunate. Go figure, educational. government, and large business accounts can easily get unlimited data accounts from Verizon - 2 of those 3, we fund entirely with our tax dollars. Heaven forbid that the same service be available to the people who *pay* the taxes though!Re: Millenicom replacementSo it's been 10 days since the unfortunate announcement from HSVwifi/Omnilynx. My MiFi is still working, hope everyone else's is too. Has there been any news, official or otherwise since 9/24 for existing users? Thanks.Re: Millenicom replacementWoW. ~3 weeks and it's dead? Thats gotta be some kind of record, and not in a good way. Here's hoping that the people who have it will be allowed to keep it!Re: Millenicom replacementNo one here would know the answer to that question. We're only users, none of us here work for them (that I know of).Re: Millenicom replacement MrWizard wrote: While I was fretting over my delivery , I called and only got a msg that the voice mail box was full (voice mail...why can't it be called what it is...electronic answering/Angering machine service) I ordered on the third, arrived Monday the 14th, it took 11 days, yours should be arriving soon, maybe Monday? From the tracking history of my order, it appears most of the delay problem is created by Fedex I've read that some can somehow use FedEx's online service to see if the package is on the way, before/without knowing the tracking number. How does that work?Re: Millenicom replacementSo... I placed my order early in the morning on Sep 4th, I see the payment taken off of my credit card, have an email from paypal and omnilynx confirming my order... But, other than that, nothing. No notices that they're experiencing shipping delays due to a lack of stock (as I read in this thread), etc. Should I call and bug them? Or sit quietly and wait? #2202. Thanks.
