All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Adding leveling jacks to a 1999 Itasca class 'C', 30ft.I bought my 97 Itasca 29' Class C and the previous owner attached them about 1 foot from the end of what looks like the Ford frame (it's thicker). It's behind the fuel tank and waste tanks. I don't know if they drilled holes but it's attached with 4 bolts. There is another frame likely added by Winnebago that is smaller that extends about 6 or more feet behind the Ford frame - I feel like the jacks are about as good as it can get for stabilization - would never try and pull the rear tires off the ground with them - way too much stress i would guess. Not had a problem with them and i only use to pull a bit of weight onto them to make the RV more stable, i use blocks to level and don't always bring these down. I would love to put two of them up front, but can't find a good place to mount them.Re: Norcold Refrigerator makes odd noises starting on propaneI had something similar and turned out the gas burner had deteriorated a bit and a new one fixed the gurgling and made the flame burn much better (blue with nice shape). I never lost the flame but without the proper outlet at the end of the tube the shape of the flame was incorrect. This is what the part looks like (this will or likely is different for your model).
