They will grab that edge and sometimes its quite unnerving.Re: New Bodiak front hitchI had thought they had gone out of business a few years ago. Good to know they are back.Re: TCs with slide(s)?Jim H must be much skinnier than I. We have the same campers, and there is no way I can get in our unless I climb over the dinette, my daughter can but she's only 100 lbs. But with the slide you may be able to get into the bathroom. But to me the rest of the camper is unusable as the kitchen slide is in the way as well. But for us, once the slides are out there is a ton of inside room.Re: Changing air pressureThats a nice homemade rig there misminoff, wish I would have seen that earlier. I happed to buy one of these that I found to do the same thing. It wasn't too expensive either. msiminoff wrote: Is there an easy way to deflate that I'm missing? I made a simple assembly that allows me to inflate/deflate two tires at the same time while maintaining equal pressure, ceteris paribus, in each tire. Of course my setup is for a SRW truck, but it could easily be reconfigured for a DRW. Here's a pic… Note that the tire chucks I used are the lock-on type so there's no need to hold them in place while inflating/deflating. And yes let me know how it goes since I hope to be in the same situation someday.Re: Suspension mods for 2010 Ford F450 4x4 for large camper? kawa900stx wrote: Can't see any picture if you just posted one. Did you have to add swing-out brackets to the Host, or did yours already have them. Mine doesn't so I was wondering how difficult it might be. Yes I saw that announcement with the F450. Only thing I can't be certain of is if they also brought back the S110 (?) heavier duty rear axle as well. Of course, I was also hoping for the '10 since I would be able to find a used one, I may have to weight again to get a used 2014. Sorry didn't mean to take this off trackRe: Suspension mods for 2010 Ford F450 4x4 for large camper? Can't see any picture if you just posted one. I have been wanting that same 2010 truck since they changed the F450 in '11 . I have heard from owned on the dieselstop forum that they say the F450 pickups are a little soft in the rear to make them more comfortable to drive, so yo may need some help in the back, but you may be able to reuse some of the goodies from you '06. Post up some pictures of the new rig.
