Perhaps in the basement up front? Or can I use AGM batteries and just not vent them? Thank You!Re: Cedar Creek 2' of snowJust hook up and start towing down south - whatever doesn't blow off will melt when you get to TX ! :W Just kidding. I wouldn't worry about removing it unless you need to go somewhere. 2 feet is fine, we have over 110 inches here this year so far.Re: fiver v/s TTWe have had both. Towing with 5er is SO much nicer. It is very stable under cross winds and don't even feel those semi's passing us anymore. Feel very safe driving the 35 foot 5er compared to our old 27 foot TT (same truck for both trailers: 2005 Ford F250 PSD). Also, hitching up is much quicker with 5er. Backing into tight spots is easier with 5er. And you don't totally lose the bed of the truck, still room for stuff in front of the hitch and firewood behind it.Re: Whats Your Real Weights? Truck and Trailer. The Real DealTruck & 5er in sig. Weighed at CAT scale (2 pass method so I could get pin weight) Truck weight includes hitch, full fuel (29 gal), and 4 occupants (weight of occupants ~500 lbs) Trailer weight includes 2 full 30 lb propane tanks and one battery, no fluids in any tanks and otherwise completely empty. Truck unhitched and loaded as described above: 8260 lbs Trailer alone: 8420 lbs (GVWR 10,500 which leaves 2080 lbs for water and all the stuff) Truck weight when hitched: 9580 lbs, under the 10,000 lb GVWR Pin weight: 1320 lbs (16% of total trailer weight) Truck and trailer total weight: 16680 lbs - well under the GCWR of 23000 lbs All axles are under their listed GAWR I have towed all over Michigan and down to Florida and back and average ~10 to 11 MPG at 65 MPH
