It has a watering system which had utilized a one gallon container and a lever for on/off to keep batteries topped off. Well...... Old batteries looked to be leaking, bought new batteries, swapped them out and reinstalled the existing watering system onto them. Prior to actually swapping, I scraped, put baking soda in, rinsed, primed and painted the area. Put the new batteries in. Well...... I began to see water seepage along the side of the batteries. Come to the conclusion the system itself was leaking, purchased a flow rite system with the ball syphon devise which sucks water in from a bottle and tops off the batteries. Ideally, I loved the self system. Has anyone else had this issue? Has anyone used the Flow Rite system and hooked it up to their existing water bottle as a drip system? Tell me your experience and thoughts. Thank you,Re: Extended warranty - is it worth itYou absolutely want the extended warranty. If you buy used, you do not have a clue on this planet what could go wrong. The prior owner sold/traded for a reason. Think they will divulge that to the dealer or buyer? We paid $6,000 for a 5 yr 1 Million mile warranty against a 2008 Class A Diesel. In the two years thus far of ownership I've had the following: 2 Hydraulic lines burst with the slide out extended Forward A/C unit leaking Toilet leaking Solenoid and 250Amp Fuse blown Slide out hydraulic blew 2nd time (replaced hydraulic cylinders too) Front leveling jacks sticking If when I financed this, I didn't put a warranty on it, I would have had to shell out all this cash... Yes, get the extended warranty.Re: New 30ft Trailer Towing ExperienceI've been through them all. From a 19' pull behind trailer, to Class C, to a 34' 5th wheel, to a 33'7" trailer and finally rested myself on a Class A Diesel. If you insist on a trailer, ONLY CONSIDER a 5TH WHEEL. A 5th wheel is easier to set up, take down, tow, back in a spot, is best built, need I say more? I sold mine due to a major surgery. Once I discovered I lived, I bought a 33'7" trailer and absolutely hated all the headaches. Traded it a year later for a used Class A Diesel. Totally self contained, yeah - cost a little bit more he he he.... Please go 5th Wheel, I would look at finding a Grand Junction 5th wheel. You cannot go wrong with it.
