I have a couple of places that is allowing water in. I have slowed it down for now, but am planning on pulling the rubber roof off and replacing any boards as well as inspect in the "attic" area and add insulation as necessary. I am strongly considering going with a lizzard skin, Herculiner, or line x type product. This will be a DIY project. I am looking for any tips, advice or reviews on the above products. Thank you very muchRe: Regulator questionNo high pressure regulator valve. Just the pig tail direct to the 2 stage regulator. I'm willing to bet it is just the pigtail. I am glad I replaced the regulator as well though since the one on it was the original from 20 yrs agoRe: Regulator questionYes that's what I'm Thinking. I probably used the incorrect term when I said line... thank you. :)Regulator questionI replaced my LP regulator this week. The new regulator is supposed to automatically switch, however it didn't. I left tanks open, but when the first tank ran out, no switcheroo. I noticed that I also couldn't get the 2nd tank top flow through even after annually flipping the valve. I ended up simply moving the hose f ft om the empty tank to the full tank for use. I'm wondering if the problem is with the line that was originally the 2nd tank or if the valve has to start from a specific side first. The instructions with the regulatory didn't indicate.Re: Blue Flame vs InfraredYes I am fixing the furnace as well. I do understand the risk of a propane heater. I also know that where we will be set up here in Tennessee it's a possibilty to lose power for a week at a time in the winter, so I do want something that can run with no electricity if it is necessaryRe: Blue Flame vs InfraredThanks for the input. Everything in this rig is original (from 1996), and could use updating. Eventually we will replace it all, but finances dictate doing it systematically. We are full time in our RV and are stationary at a campground. Right now the suburban furnace doesn't ignite, I'm assuming the orifice needs cleaned. Working on that tomorrow. I've been doing quite a bit of research on the ventless wall units, and not seeing a problem, provided we open a window. I'm also trying to plan ahead provided we lose power. Eventually we will most likely put in a new furnace, thanks alboy for the recommendation.Re: Blue Flame vs InfraredYes we have a furnace, but after reading about their lack of efficiency I want to have something better. I am planning to install the wall heater near a window because of the venting issue. It will also be going in the middle of the 5er and I plan to use fans to circulate the air to both bedrooms.. this is why I was leaning toward the blue flame.Re: Blue Flame vs InfraredYes we have a furnace, but after reading about their lack of efficiency I want to have something better. I am looking at the thermablaster 10,000 Btu wall mount. Since we are hearing 440sf this should be enough... I think. I am debating between the blue flame vs infrared, but leaning toward blue flame. Any suggestions or experiences?
