It's sleazier than that. Some of their techs are not employees- they bill by the job or don't get paid. They have a vested interest in billing more so your repairs are excessive. Personal experience. Never ever ever go there unless it's an emergency Moreover they have a cute diagnostic flat cost of 375. I've probably personally spent more than anyone in this forum on GPS technology...Trust me - I'm a pilot! :) Anyhow - for cars, I've always enjoyed the Kenwood line. Alpine, Pioneer, Eclipse - they all have some form of premium product, but the nice thing about Kenwood has been their licensing and inclusion of Street Pilot Technology into their 2din NAV line. The downside is that updates on a dash mounted unit could always be a little slower or out of date than portables unless you have creative means for an update. http://www.kenwood.com/ce/dnn1/na/en/dnn992/index.html If recency of information is your deal, then Garmin Portables are probably best. You can't find an easier interface to use. Iphones are fine and I use mine more than most...it's just...so inferior by comparison to what Garmin offers. 1. Finished the cabling on the new 6 Sunpower225 Blk Solar Panels 2. Installed a combiner box from Imagine 3. Unpacked the MS2812 and remote gauge and placed it in its new home 4. Unpacked the Seelevel Gauges into the kitchen 5. Finished installing the Prairie Smart tile on the bathroom 6. Installed a Dometic 310 tall toilet 7. Moved the display to cut into my kitchen for my Midnite Classic 150 8. Added 2 new GC2 Sam's Club batteries for a total of 6 now, at 630ah 9. Finished installing Instant Mosaic Aluminum Kitchen Backsplash 10. Replaced the fan and cover on the Fantastic Vent 11.
