Would you sleep with an AGM battery under your bed?
Thinking about just breaking the bank and getting a pair of AGM golf cart batteries to put under the bed of our 19 foot KZ Sportsmen classic. Three reasons. 1, No room on the tongue. Propane tank takes up most of the exposed area of a very small space. Current battery sits almost under the tank. 2, Quicker recovery time for recharge with generator. 3, I can move them further back closer to the axle to help distribute the extra weight. Where do you put them when you run them? We are staying in some state parks later this summer and I want to keep it as quiet as possible. I have a Champion 2000 watt inverter generator that is quiet but I am wondering about ways to get it even more quiet and keep it safe and dry. We replaced ours with a fabric I got from Ebay. Wife and I did it ourselves in about two hours. I think the fabric was about $150 for a 14' awning. We watched some youtube videos to see how to do it. There are some tricks and there are springs but it was pretty easy. Your quote seems high but they do need to mark up to stay open.281Views0likes0Comments
