Slide includes dinette and main cabin couch.Re: Advice for a trip up the west coastDid the PCH 2 years ago from LA to Oregon with our 37-0 motorhome and toad. Some of the switchbacks will make you real nervous. If you cut a little to tight the overhanging rocks will redesign your MH. The trip although beautiful wore my ass out. Get ready for some real expensive camp sites and fuel.Re: New Member and QuestionNot familiar with your toad but I towed our Landcruiser to Alaska and back with it backed onto the dolly and the steering wheel tied down. Four wheel drive was in neutral. They said it couldn't be done but the Landcruiser is still going strong.Re: We last did this in June of 2017 Let's do it again!AlaskaRe: National Tradewinds questionI have a 2002 Tradewinds (Spartan Chassis) and once I got the correct shocks on it we love it. Have hit all of the lower 48 and will be living in it while we build our new house. Have the Cummins 300 and tow a Saturn on a dolly.Re: breakdown on Interstate 25 Bill.Satellite wrote: You might want to change the topic title to something more about the problem with your coach and not the highway name. This would help others in the future. X2Re: On our way outwest this summer...Stayed last year at Copper Harbor. Lake Fanny Hooey campground worked out great for us. Touring a couple copper mines was the primary attraction unless you bring an ATV as there are great trails to explore.Re: Mold in showerSometimes clear silicone caulking is used in shower enclosures. Mold can form under the caulking and show thru the clear as if it were on top of the silicone. Bleach has no effect in this case and you must pull out the old caulking, treat the mold and re-caulk.Re: Toilet Overflow rekoj71 wrote: beemerphile1 wrote: Are you certain the water connection was the potable connection and not the black tank flush? This is what I'm wondering. In 96 I'm not sure if the tank flushers were standard like they are on some RV's now, but one could have been added. Are you sure that your hose is connected to the city water inlet and not to a black tank flush. If the black tank flush is left on too long and the black tank handle closed the black tank is filling up. It's a common practice when someone wants to get the tank really clean, but it can backfire if they forget and overfill the tank and then the mess happens just like you describe. You may have still had water pressure at the sinks if you had water in your fresh tank and were running the RV's water pump. No black tank flush on this model. I'm pretty sure now that it was a 10 lb in a 5 lb sack issue.:SRe: Toilet Overflow Old-Biscuit wrote: Well pump cycling on..........system loosing pressure.....So leak somewhere Trailer..... Some bathroom sinks on NEWER RVs did plumb sink drain to black tank. Regardless...... Sink faucet would have to be running/dripping and/or toilet water valve would have to be running/dripping to cause well pump to cycle on The more I replay this nightmare in my head I think you may be correct. The bathtub did not fill with any water which is usually the first indication of a full grey water tank. The grey dump valve left open and the well pump cycling might just be coincidences that I thought were related to the problem. Of course the black tank monitor doesn't work either. I think I can pin it down tomorrow.
