Any suggestions on how to make this work? thanks Re: Amazon Prime and AlexaIf the Amazon folks find listening in to my household interesting they lives are truly sad.Amazon Prime and AlexaThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 29912974Amazon Prime and AlexaI have a very strange situation. I recently purchased an Echo Dot and was playing around with sending a message to my husband. Well my son called and said he heard my message 100 miles away. I realize this is probably due to having an Amazon Prime Household account, I see all of his devices in my Alexa App. Which I did not connect, but they were there when I signed in. My question is, is there any way to disconnect all these devices? I am willing to remove myself from his household account, but then I can't get another for 6 months, which seems absurd. If I open an account in my husbands name all my info is lost for past purchases. If anyone can figure out a fix for this, I would appreciate it.Re: TallahasseeThanks, I will check football schedule. Right now we are thinking to go further. Since the hurricane, more than likely a lot of rooms may not be available, but we will check.Re: TallahasseeThank you, I think we stayed in that area once before. I remember the Cracker Barrel.TallahasseeThis is not really an RV question, but we are traveling through Tallahassee in December on our way to Disney World.. We aren't taking the RV this trip so we are looking for a hotel stop. My question is there any areas right off of 1-10 we should avoid, we want to feel safe where we stop for the night. Plus, have a few options for eating. Any advice would be appreciated. Our thoughts and prayers go out to our Florida friends who have been affected by Hurricane Michael.Re: Thoughts on AT&T fixed WirelessThe fixed wireless allows me to stream videos, Netflix, and you tube. They say they guarantee 10 mbps, but fine print says this can be less depending on number of devices etc. A little buffering with Direct TV on playback mode, but on my laptop and phone, no buffering at all. The speed is about the same as my LTE hotspot, if there is a difference it is not noticeable except if we have 3 or more things going on internet. It's not as good as a broadband type internet but it is better that what we had before. I only had 30 GB with my hotspot. Now if they could just reduce cell phone bills. I am paying $135 for 30 GB, called to change plan and 10 GB shared data plan cost $135. Unlimited was $135, but limited hotspot of 15 gb. Still not sure what to do there other than get rid of AT&T.Re: Thoughts on AT&T fixed WirelessThere is a data cap of 170 GB, I have an intro monthly fee of $50, after a year $60. I hear they are working to eliminate data cap, but 170 works for me.Re: Thoughts on AT&T fixed WirelessJust a quick note, so far we have had AT&T Fixed Wireless about 3 months and it works as well as our hotspot did. It is amazing that we use twice the amount of data and we haven't really changed our habits. Our only complaint is that our Samsung TV won't stream Netflix, even though all the other TV's and devices do. Neither Samsung or AT&T can figure out the problem. So I stream with my Hotspot, which works, go figure. So if they are offering it in your neck of the woods, it's worth looking into. It is less expensive the satellite internet.
