Not a lot of programs available, but news from all over the country.Re: Temptation to Buy a ChromebookI’m on my second or third Chromebook. They are fast to boot up, easy to use, lightweight, and perfect for email and web surfing. Although I’ve read and watched dozens of tutorials, I still have not been able to connect mine to a network printer. It can be done, but apparently not by me. I bought my first one just to play with, but now I’m hooked. Go for it!Re: Winegard X2 storage bagSearch Amazon for KING CB1000 Carry Bag. I use this to carry my portable dish, receiver, cables, remote, the whole nine yards.Re: Attaching items to interior walls without drillingWhen using Command Strips, prep the wall per the directions, alcohol wipe and all. If it say press and hold for one minute, do it a bit longer. As Old-Biscuit said above, prep is the key.Re: Chromebooks?I love my Chromebook, especially when traveling. It weighs a lot less than a typical Windows PC. My Chromebook connects to marginal campground WiFi much better than my Windows PC. I don’t mind storing files on the cloud, but I have also used thumb drives, SD cards, and external hard drives with it for additional local storage. I have used Acer, Samsung, and Lenovo Chromebooks in the past and all have been excellent. As 2oldman mentioned, they boot up quickly; and I have never heard of anyone getting a virus with a Chromebook. Go for it!Re: Satellite Finder app for IPhone Lynnmor wrote: I use SatFinder Lite, the Winegard app will not work correctly on my iPhone. Look for one that has the cutoff switch.Re: Dish Playmate hookupI could never get my portable dish to work when hooked to the cable connection. I had a technician put in a dedicated connection that went directly to the receiver and it worked perfectly.Re: InternetThe Tripmate Titan made by HooToo might be what you need. Check it out.Re: Jensen 12v TV will not permit channel scanI don’t want to start an argument, just offer a second opinion. Over the years I’ve seen numerous complaints in this forum and others about the lack of quality of Jensen TVs. We had one in our first motor home, a 2011 Four Winds small Class C. The TV worked flawlessly over the seven years we owned that MH. We used the TV for OTA programs, satellite feeds, and with our DVD player...never the slightest hiccup. Maybe I was just lucky.
