Yes, I like their "no hidden fees" policy, i got a simple quote via email for the out the door price (sale price plus tax, tags, title).Re: Helio travel trailers? gbopp wrote: I've never heard of Helio TT's. What is the name of the dealer near you? Maybe someone can give you helpful advice or opinions about the dealership. I see they're made in Canada, or at least that's the location of their headquarters. Possibly they're beter equipped for cold weather than units build south of the border? Post your opinion after you see the unit. It's beckley's in Maryland. I'm so new to travel trailers i wouldn't even know what to write about after looking at one. I should come up with a list of questions.Re: Helio travel trailers? Yeti plus wrote: It looks very similar to the T@B trailers. We thought that was what we wanted, then we rented one for a week. Dropped it off at the end of the week and never looked back! I am about 5'10" and I couldn't stand upright in the trailer. The one we rented didn't have a toilet or shower and we found it to be small. If it is 2 people there isn't room for 2 to change at the same time.Give some thought to space in the event of bad weather. Basically this is a rolling bedroom. There are people who have the T@B trailers and they love them, but it didn't work for us. Good luck in your search. Brian my wife and i would prefer to actually be outside while camping, and use the travel trailer primarily for sleeping (at least for her, i'd still sleep in my warbonnet hammock outdoors). so something like the T@B would work for us. only when i saw the Aliner Ascape and Helio O2 did i see that these small travel trailers could actually have a bathroom that i started considering them as an option.Re: Helio travel trailers? gbopp wrote: Did you see the Helio at a dealership or are you just looking at the online info? i found it online first, and then found a dealer 1.5 hours away from me that i'm planning to see for the first time tomorrow. i'm completely new to travel trailers and RVs and don't know a thing about them, so it's all new to me. because i'm so new to this, i'm hesitant to buy the Helio given there isn't many of them out there.Helio travel trailers?Hey, new guy here. :) I wasn't sure where to post this, but figured I'd try here. Does anyone own or have experience with Helio travel trailers, specifically their O2 model? Doing a search here and google, I'm finding practically no feedback or reviews from owners so I was wondering if they're just too new or if there is something about them that is keeping people away. On paper, the O2 seems comparable to a Scamp 13' deluxe, but the Scamp has a huge following while the Helio is almost unknown. The Helio O2 is one of the few travel trailers that is light enough to be towed by my 2017 Outback 2.5, and based on the vendor's specifications, it's small enough to fit into a 10x15 self storage unit with an 8' door. I can get a 2019 model O2 for just a little over $19k OTD. Seems like a good deal to me, but I'm wary of the fact that there isn't a lot of these on the road and zero discussion about them. https://heliovr.com/ultralight-travel-trailer/ STANDARD FEATURES Interior: Large queen comfortable bed ( 74? x 65?) for 2 people Interior shower with fixed enclosed toilet 3.3 cu.ft. fridge with freezer Kitchenette (2 propane burners + sink) Fan with automatic temperature control Clever storage Upholstery fabrics for benches Padded interior ceiling lining with LED lighting Maintenance free decorative fibreglass flooring Storage space under the benches Tinted windows with screen Retractable exterior step Propage water heater (6 gallons) Drinking water tank (13 gallons) Grey and black water tanks (10 gallons each) Full size screen door 4 interior 110V outlets 1 Charging station (12V & USB) R7 Insulation Security Propane and carbon monoxide detector Smoke detector Fire extinguisher Exterior Electric brakes Independent torsion suspension Exterior Gel Coat finish Propane storage tank (20 pounds) Power inlet (30 Amp) Exterior porch lighting 2 exterior 110V outlets Solar panel inlet (Ready) Electric converter 30 Amp Molded fibreglass storage for propane and battery Alloy wheels with radial tires (13 inch.)
