years ago, I had a Europa..... looks like the pic of the one you are looking act. Very long overhang..... terrible driver........ lots of sway...... you had to hang on driving on interstates..... glad to get rid of it...... the chase? was also used for a 26' Xplorer class A .... they dropped it as well....... had a dodge engine & transmission....... Got 15,000 miles on my 2013, since July 1st..... I love it! lacks in some areas. 1-insulation (for cold or hot weather )not as good as higher priced Sprinters. 2-no inverter..... to run 110 volt accessories with out plug in or genny 3-need to ad high quality extenders to add or check air to dual tires..... great milage 18 plus super quite ride great service at Mercedes Benz no macerator pump a plus for me... gravity always works!82Views0likes0CommentsRe: Looking for Xplorer or Pleasure-Way Used Gasoline
Owned 3 XPLORERS……. going back to 1976……. My favorite by far was the 2002 XLW with rear bed and front sofa……. Loved the ride with dullies……. Do not think any Class B back then can compare…. the slide out storage was unbelievable…… insulation , fit and finish was superb……. drove the wide body across the country many times….. traded in with 110,000 miles for a Roadtrek 210 …… tried for 2 years to find a low milage Xplorer replacement (2003- last year)……. (5 years and 100,900 miles) and traded Roadtrek in for 2013 Winnebago ERA -A …….Loving the ERA…...611Views0likes0Comments
