I took a wired camera and plugged it into a transmitter. Then I put a receiver in the truck. Now I have a wireless camera for about $150. You can find the transmitter/receiver on Amazon.com for about $65. You will also need a small inverter for the power supply for each - Radio Shack. Works great with over 300' of range. Just be sure to get the 8gHz version; because everything uses teh 4gHz - including the microwave.378Views0likes0CommentsRe: Portable Ice Maker recommendations?
We bought a small ice maker from Camping World on sale for about $50. We simply love it. It makes ice in about 10 minutes. Holds about 3 larger bottles of bottled water, makes ice continuously, and shuts itself down (still holding ice) when the bin gets full. Now we do not run out of ice for two people; and we don't have to go buy ice and watch it melt in a cooler. Getting a SMALL ice maker is a good idea.241Views0likes0Comments
