Nope! I don't want anything in return except someone to enjoy these days in the Key Largo area as I will when I finally arrive. Just thought maybe someone on this forum would want to grab it up as I cancel soon. To bad a person has to be suspect of everything these days. Re-arranging our travel plans for January 2017 and will be cancelling a 7 night reservation at Oscar Scherer State Park near Venice Florida. Dates are Dec. 30, 2016 - Jan 5, 2017 Site #63 Driveway Entry: Back-In Max Vehicle Length: 36' Site Length: 56' Site Width: 15' I realize this park may not be as hard to get a reservation as parks that are further South, but as of today there are no sites available. Anyone interested can post here or message me and we can work out the details on timing. ibrjet - It's the least we can do. This is how we got to enjoy a 2 wk vacation a couple years ago. Someone on this board was nice enough to work with us on the timing of cancellation and us booking our site. This could be your lucky day!! Due to a change in travel plans this year, we are getting ready to cancel 5 nights at John Pennekamp SP in Key Largo. I'm sorry but I dont have a reservation to cancel at a state park in the keys. I have already cancelled the Koreshan (near Ft Myers)reservation. Watch Reserve America DAILY for cancellations. You may get lucky and find a few nights at one of the state parks. I actully got 7 nights at Long Key a couple years ago. Found them in October for Christmas-New Years time frame.
