What are some other campgrounds with on-site theme parks or water parks?Re: Looking at used Suburban 2500'sThanks everyone. Camper and van both came home last night. :-) Now we just need to book some trips. Thanks for all your help. MUCH appreciated!!!Re: Lightweight non-hybrid TT that sleeps 7-8 people? We are now the owners of a Ford E350 and a Shamrock Hybrid. Both the camper and van came home last night. Thanks everyone for all your help!!!!Re: Looking at used Suburban 2500'sEnded up buyng the E350. The price was right and, since it has a payload sufficient for 12 passengers, our family of 7 is longer pushing the payload limit, which is very nice. And since our trailer is pretty light and not super long, I feel good about the specs.Re: Looking at 2004 ford econoline 350 vanLooking for a v10, but not seeing them around here. As for trailer size, this is really the biggest size we can get and store here...so I hope we have many many years with this. Coming from an 8' box popup, it seems HUGE. :-)Re: Lightweight non-hybrid TT that sleeps 7-8 people? Thanks! The Suburban CAN seat up to 9, but this particular truck was configured for 7. I test drove the burb yesterday and my husband is driving the Ford right now. :-) Either way, it seems like a nice upgrade from our current Envoy XL, especially where payload is concerned.Re: Looking at used Suburban 2500'sWe found a local Ford E350 12 passenger van for sale. 5.4 li V8 engine. Does not have tow package but dealership said they could put it in. Also found a local Suburban 2500. Only downside is that this one is only configured for 7 seats, which is fine unless one of our kids wants a friend to come along.Re: Lightweight non-hybrid TT that sleeps 7-8 people? We have narrowed it down to two local vehicles ...Suburban 2500, which has 7 seats or a Ford E350 12 passenger.Looking at 2004 ford econoline 350 vanSuper Duty with 5.4 l v8 engine and 12 passenger seating. Having a hard time finding or making sense of the specs. It looks like it can carry our 7person, 2 dog family just fine... Do you think it is a good choice of tow vehicle for pulling for a 23' hybrid weighing 4800 lbs loaded?Re: Lightweight non-hybrid TT that sleeps 7-8 people? It's a 2003 GMC Envoy XL, which has an allowance of a little more than 1400 lbs for passengers, tongue weight, cargo, etc. It's the I-6. So we will narrow our search down to the Suburban 2500 or 12 passenger van (mainly zeroing in on E350 or Chevy Express)
