We have never had a bad stay there. Not sure on the fire pit, but as was said, call the Ranger Station and they will let you know. Lot's and lot's of things to do in the area.Re: San DiegoI would recommend Santee Lakes, but have no idea how much the monthly rate is. Best option is to call and get them to tell you what it would run. Santee LakesRe: Dish TailgatorDish Tailgater only works with a VIP211K receiver, and is only one channel at a time. That said, you can set the receiver up with an external hard drive. I've been happy with ours and especially the pay as you go. Also, fairly easy to change to the new location every time. CliffRe: Kingman, AZ RV parkWe spent 2 nites at Fort Beale. No issues at all with train noise. Nice and clean and very helpful. CliffRe: Wine Country RV Park Paso Robles, CA>Been too McPhees also, and enjoyed it, but would recommend Artisan in Down Town Paso. Took camping friends there and had a really great meal. You won't have enough time to do all the wineries, but have tons of choices. Any questions let me know. And we have been going to Wine Country RV since they first opened. Love the park.
