We got to see my wifes aunt who lives in Pensecola and a couple of friends that live in Orlando. Even our tow vechile ran great. Worst rip trying to back a new fifth wheel into a to small spot, we left and found another campground that we actually liked better.campground in Gulfport mississippiwe are looking for a campground in Gulfport or the surrounding area. We will be there about 10 days and would like recommendations. Private campground, state park campground or coe campgrounds are fine. We would like to have 50 amp and water and sewer. Thanks everybody for your recommendations Scott and Lisawhat to use as a cleaner on s slick side f'ver? We have just bought a new f'ver and I washed it for the first time today. There are water spots all over it, I used the same soap as I have in the past, although the last f'ver was aluminum siding and this one is fiberglass. So any suggestions that are not hard on the wallet and not time consuming are appreciated. Yes we have a water softener and part of the problem is how hard our water is. So any help is appreciated.Re: Recommendations for 30 -32 ft 5th wheelWe just bought a coachmen Chaparral Lite the model is 285 rls in is in the mid profile range. We have been looking for a couple of years and finally found the layout we like. Take a look, ours is well built and easily pulled by our F150 although it is the 3.5 Eco boost with the max tow haul package. I would say if you already have a camper, take the time to find what you guys want.50amp surge protector ?Hi What is everybody using for a portable inline surge protector. The power cord is detachable and can be stored in the pass through compartment. We are wondering what everybody is using for some type of either container or cord reel. Thanks for all the help.Re: Anybody maxing out an F150, by J2807?I don't remember the weights anymore we have an 2004 keystone hornet 275 you can look up the weights. The f150 is a 4x4 ecoboost 3.5 max tow haul. I really feel the picture in my signature speaks volumes. There are NO after market add ons. I am happy with the way it tows our fifth wheel, no issues> We are in the Ozarks frequently each year. I wouldn't go any heavier but this setup is good.Re: campgrounds along the Iowa Illinois border sljkansas wrote: I did not know that Iowa and Illinois were Border States?
