I Have a 2017 F250 GVWR 10,000 lbs, rear GAWR 6340, front GAWR 4400, E rated tires at 3640 lbs. I have added 8600 lb Timbrens, lower stable loads and a Hellwig bigwig sway bar. I weighed my truck full of gas, two passengers, camper full of water and everything else we thought we needed to bring. The Cat Scale weighed in at: Front axle 4060 Rear axle 6340 Gross weight 10400 The scale shows I am 400 Lbs over my GVWR listed on my truck. The truck handles the camper very well. My question is will this present any problems and what can I do to help? Any helpful suggestions will be appreciated. I need to raise my truck campers height in the bed of my truck do to Ford raising the height of thier bed rails and cab on thier 2017 and newer f250’s. I here you can use a 4x8 sheet of polystyrene foam board. Has anyone used this and how well does it work? Will it hold the weight of the camper without crushing? Please let me know your thoughts. I understand Ford in 2017 raised thier bed rails and cab heights making some campers 2016 and older have problems fitting. Can anyone tell me if my 2011 Lance 855 will fit my 2017 f250 short bed without modifications? I have done the measurements and have 2 inch clearance above the bed rails and. 2 1/2 inches above the cab is this enough clearance? Do I need to be looking anywhere else for fit problems? does anyone have this or similar setup and can you tell me how it works. I have a 2011 Lance 855 and will be putting it on my 2017 F250 this spring. Any thoughts of possible suspension enhancements I should do to help? I have installed Timbrens on the truck and that is all I have done to the truck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
