Two lane for most, but still a good road with adequate passing lanes.Re: M&G Air Braking SystemWe're using the M&G system. Great system, just connect an air hose and your ready. I would recommend that you go for the emergency breakaway. I think it was optional. They can also hook up a light on the dash to let you know when the brakes are activated.Re: ? Winnebago Air ConditionerOur old winnebago had a basement AC that was one unit, but two separate compressors - so essentially two AC units. Still we had a hard time cooling our 40' Journey.Re: RV "Resorts"Our inside joke is when a RV park calls itself a "resort" that just means there is a pool onsite...Re: No waterSounds like the check valve coming off the water heater has failed. Depending on location, it is a simple fix. Happened to us, but luckily it was summer and the water in the tank was pretty warm.Re: LeFleurs Bluff State Park, MSThat's good to know. We are headed there next week. I was hesitant to recommend before I had actually stayed there. Scottiemom wrote: Another option in the Jackson area is Timberlake in Brandon. Very nice park. The newest section is great for overnighting and are very large double concrete pads and patios. Dale Re: Gen-Turi QuestionYes, the genturi definitely will pull the fumes up and away from the rig. You would want to be careful if you are used to opening your ceiling vents at night. But we use ours when tailgating at ballgames. Generator runs pretty much all weekend in those hot September nights.Re: LeFleurs Bluff State Park, MSIt was a nice park the last time we visited, but the roads are not paved and in the hot summers, a lot of dust is kicked up. By the same token, hope it is not raining as it would be very muddy...Re: Weep holes....REALLY?! Mr.Mark wrote: Mile High, I also had never heard of weep holes in the slide out room. Learn something everyday! How long is the drain pipe for the weep hole? It's not the whole height of the slide is it? I can't tell much from the pictures. Safe travels, MM. My weep hole pipe is short. Just long enough to go through the side wall. Ours stopped up and we had a leak inside. Not bucket fulls, but a slow drip out of the lock mechanism. After I got up and cleaned the weep hole all was good.Re: Weep holes....REALLY?!The weep holes mentioned are not part of the slide mechanism or the slide seals, but part of an electric lock to hold the slide when retracted. These are not included on all slides, but as mentioned previously, if you have such, they need to be maintained. This is not necessarily a big job. Just clean periodically with a pipe cleaner or such.
