Bought it from close friend that fell on hard times a while ago, unfortunately the camper was neglected during this time. I have soft spots in the floor and from my understanding this is considered an ultralight trailer so it's sandwich material. I'm addressing a few suspect areas relaxing weatherstripping around the entry door etc. So here's where I'd like some direction. I'm thinking of pulling up the linoleum and letting it dry out. Use git rot on areas of concern kill any mold and recover with a floating floor like laminate after I can assure no future damage from existing problems. From what I've read this floor is basically pre-assembled, has aluminum supports and laid directly on the frame runner. Does the walls overlap the floor or if I cut out a rotted area how do I go about repairing underwater damage. It'd be easier if I just had to wreck to the wall but my ocd would get the best of me.2005 palamino stampede 23SD SLIs anyone familiar with construction of these campers. I have some softspots in the floor and kinda looking at doing small sections as time permits. What I'd like to know is floor material which I'm pretty sure is the sandwich Styrofoam but what about the walls. It's slick but I'm hoping aluminum. How strong is floating laminate floorSo here's why I ask this is have two project trailers. One I'm have to do a complete refer back on the front section so it's not gonna matter but there a couple spots where the floor is soft just kinda flexy under weigh. I was wondering if I install the laminate floor will it distribute enough weight to lessen notucibility. On the other trailer is a hybrid and pretty much the floor is soft almost all the way around it figure because of humidity. I've read that the floor is the sandwich Styrofoam. Do you think laminate floor would get buy here as well.
