Both of us wanted the walk around queen bed. For us, the bed in the front was our preference.Re: Camping World RV ParkingNot so much overnight parking but what about daytime parking for someone transiting an area with a TT or MH. It seems that the Harrisburg, PA store has some spaces available out front for cars but I don't know where I would go with a TT if I needed to stop in for something.(Maybe I just missed it?) Winchester, VA on the other hand had some spaces on the side I could access with my TT.Re: Hard wired EMS questionsI installed my EMS back underneath the fold-up knife bed/couch where the power cord box (flimsy) was. Also changed over to a Park Power inlet to eliminate the mouse hole and that pathetic storage box. Remote got mounted just under the couch. Sure I have to kneel down to read it but I don't expect that to be too many times (fingers crossed). With the bed at the front end, no light contamination.Re: Fire destroys several RVs at a CampgroundI wonder if they were seasonal or other long-term folks with decks and all keeping them in place or were they more transient units that just couldn't get out of the way fast enough?Re: Electric trailer jackMy GMC has a 30-amp fuse in the Trailer Power position. That being said, I would not want to run off just the truck UNLESS I used jumper cables as mentioned previously. Tongue jack draws up close to 25 amperes per manufacturer's info; don't want to heat up that long #10 AWG wire.Re: I-Pass question jerseyjim wrote: DUSTYR: that might be true...but NJ issues one for each vehicle (max 4)...and each one is marked for the vehicle it will go into. FWIW. PA has vehicles registered and transponder can be used on any vehicle. Started out with one transponder for three vehicles, them added a second transponder and then finally added a third transponder to eliminate moving transponder from vehicle to vehicle. When using rental cars for work, I would go online to register the plate of the rental car and use EZ-Pass lanes. Loved it when we traveled out to Nebraska; every toll road we were on accepted EZ-Pass. My wish is that it would have reciprocity with Florida's SunPass.Re: Embarrassed to ask...fuse kit?!Not sure what your Class C chassis has, but my GMC PU has a plethora of fuse types. I found I had FMX (female)type fuses for the trailer power and trailer brake circuits. Others were the ATM or male style fuse but those too come in at least three different sizes for my rig. I put together a plastic compartment box with various fuse types sorted by amperage. Hopefully, having it ready will eliminate my having to use it;)Re: DOD Military Campground near Orange Beach FloridaI did not recall seeing this campground listed in U.S. Military Campgrounds. Thanks for the information; sounds great.Re: Towing MirrorsAnother user of the Cipa slide-ons-for my GMC. I thought that the single, small piece of cushioning tape they include might not be enough. (Clear instructions said where this small piece goes) I thought I could add moleskin if something more was needed but have not had the need. Mirrors are solid, easy to install and have not damaged the OEM mirror as was my concern.Re: My 1984 Travel Lite 17 footerVery nice photos; looks like a nice rig. No doubt it was built a bit better than those coming off the lines today. They even put Goodyear tires on it back in its day.
