I bypassed it with a normal splitter and it worked perfectly. So, the amplifier must be bad or is failing.Re: Cable TV fuzzy...trouble shooting.. punomatic wrote: kgie1217 wrote: Biggest question is...where can I get one of these? Any ideas or suggestions would be highly recommended. Here's one like yours in white. I don't know if they have black. If you are handy enough to have done all this troubleshooting, you should be able to install a replacement amplifier. If you have Amazon Prime, you should be able to get one in a couple of days...way before the 18th. First, however, check to make sure the amplifier on your current unit is switched OFF when using cable. FWIW, I had a similar problem in my coach and it turned out to be just a standard splitter; they do go bad. I saw that one earlier today but it's for a non-amplified antenna unfortunately.Re: Cable TV fuzzy...trouble shooting..The signal booster to the antenna is off. The red light is off just looks like it's on in the picture. It's very frustrating but by passing the factory splitter clears everything up which leads me to believe that the factory splitter is bad.Cable TV fuzzy...trouble shooting..I have a 2016 Crossroads Sunset Trail 250RB. Took our camper out this weekend and the site we were at has cable TV hookups. I hooked up the cable to the camper and it was very snowy and fuzzy. I tried two more cables and the same issue. I had one of the camp hosts come over and check their signal and it was good. I even bypassed the camper all together and ran the cable to the back of our outside TV and it was crystal clear. So, below is what I did to trouble shoot the problem: 1. Took the cable connection box off of the back of the camper and tightened all cables. Tested the cable inside the camper and still fuzzy. 2. Removed the splitter from inside the cabin and tightened all connections. Tested cable again and still fuzzy. 3. For kicks I swapped the cable from the back of the camper to satellite and connected the satellite cable to the TV. That cleared up the cable considerably. 4. The TV splitter inside the cabin has some electronic board on it. So, I bypassed all that and hooked the cable up directly to a standard home style two to one cable splitter. When I did that the cable cleared up and no issues. So, it seems the splitter inside the cabin may be bad. Below is the picture of the splitter inside my camper. As you can see it has an electronic board on it that splits up the signal to the cable or TV antenna. My feeling is that this splitter is bad. Biggest question is...where can I get one of these? So, I happened to be by the local Camping World one day and stopped in and used it for some small things. I find most if not all items sold by Camping World can be purchased elsewhere at a lower cost.Lippert Components auto leveling for travel trailersIf all manufacturers other than Keystone picks this up it will be a game changer for travel trailers. Have you done a flush yet?Re: TV gone bust ... Replacements?I bought a refurbished 32" Vizio Smart LED HDTV 1080p from Walmart's website for $179. I replaced my original 32" in the camper with the new 32" Vizio. I use the old 32" for my outdoor TV needs. The Vizio has done great and the HD picture is spot on.Re: Flag holders?Since my Crossroads Sunset Trail 250RB doesn't have a ladder this is what I bought to have a flag pole: Camco 51611 Hitch Mount Flagpole Holder: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004IVGA0G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 RV Square Bumper for Bike Cargo Carrier Hitch Receiver Adapter Mount on RV Travel Trailer Coachman with 4" or 4.5" Bumper: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CK2357A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Homdox Flagpole Light 26LED Solar Powered Waterproof Auto Charge and Light Up for 15 to 25 Feet Flag: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A8HJ26C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 FlagPole Buddy Light Holder Adapter Plug: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003GD5GNE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 http://www.shop.flagpolebuddy.com/End-Plug-Adapter-for-Fiberglass-Poles-106605.htm FlagPole Buddy 16' Fiberglass Flag Pole: http://www.flagpolebuddy.com/16_ft_Fiberglass_Pole.html Basically, I had to get the bumper hitch and flag pole holder to make this work. I went with a fiberglass pole figuring it would be lighter to deal with. The LED pole light is very bright and works great!
