Truck had one weight and trailer was 12,400Re: Raptor wheel issueUpgrade to wheels or entire Toyhauler?....??Re: Raptor wheel issueWeighed unit at scale and loaded with full water, fuel, and tons of useless trip items it was 12,400. Gross is 14,000. Has 2 - 7k axles ...... think the wheels are rated at 3400.Raptor wheel issueHave a 2010 Raptor Toyhauler 5vr. I had a wheel crack in the interior between the beads. Tiny split/crack created slow leak. Bought new and this happened in 2016. Pulled it 5500 miles with exact replacement wheel an now another one has cracked by the spokes. No external damage to wheel either time. The rating on the wheel says it is within the limits. Anyone else have this issue and what should I replace it with? ThnxRe: Residential fridge upgrade power optionsThanks to all who responded. I think with the Magnum 2012 inverter it does what y'all have described and will pass thru the line voltage of either shore or generator power. Appreciate the advice and assistance. Great resources when we are in need.Residential fridge upgrade power optionsRecently upgraded to residential fridge. Have 2 ac power outlets. Inverter ac and gen/shorepower ac. Installer used inverter. Has anyone installed a transfer between the 2 sources just for the fridge? Mine stays plugged into shore power in RV garage more than we travel ( travel maybe 10 weeks or so a year ). Seems like using the inverter plug is working the inverter and batteries a lot unnecessarily. Also will require more constant monitoring of battery water. Looking for experts thoughts. TIARe: Dolly, Flat Tow or Trailer best way to AlaskaThanks all.Dolly, Flat Tow or Trailer best way to AlaskaPlanning a 2 month trip to Alaska with Fleetwood Revolution. We were planning on flat towing our 2014 Buick Enclave. We want to buy a Jeep but will have to wait 2 more years. Several have advised me we will damage the appearance and/or the mechanicals on the Enclave on this trip. I was told due to the very rough gravel roads and frost heaves. I assume a vehicle is needed to get around to all the sights. Looking for your very experienced opinions. Thanks,Re: Magnum normal float amp drawUpdate. After doing what Doug suggested here's is the result. I unplugged from shore power for 2 minutes. Reconnected and watched Magnum monitor. Started at "bulk", high amps, screen changed to "absorb" and amps are fluctuating all over.....25-67. It did settle down some after a while but still goes bonkers and changes up and down the scale?... I feel there just may be an issue with cables, batteries...or? Can the controller board cause this? Has anyone had an issue similar. I will tear into it Saturday. Thanks again.Re: Magnum normal float amp drawDoug, the link you provided for the Magnum remote is the exact match to what I have. I guess I misunderstood the instructions in the manual. It does not say to select the mode but describes how it will cycle thru as needed. I just push the button "charger on" and that is when it raises to 16 amps , but never drops down to float. So you are saying leave it off and it will step thru the modes as needed? The system may be functioning as designed.
