Also, my question on the difference between a 15 and 16 E rated tire. Seems no one knows the answer. I probably will change next year because I have too much invested in new tires right now.Re: Upgrading tire rimsST tires have a thicker side wall to compensate for the verticle pressure from the TT. LT tires are thinner on the side. So besides the wide vcariety to choose from, what is realy the advantage? I know with the 15" E rated tires I have now I have about 2800lbs, so how much more do I get with upgrading to a 16" E rated LT tire?Re: Upgrading tire rimsI have 4" at the top and 5" between wheels, so that shouldn't be an issue. So if I was to go with a 16" E rated tire vs a 15" E rated trailer tire, was is the advantage for the added expense of changing out all of my rims? This is a TT by the way.Re: Upgrading tire rimsSo what is the weight differnce between a 15" E and a 16" E? i am running 15" E 10 plys and will I get better wear and tear by going up to 16s? I have a Winnie One 29LUpgrading tire rimsI have a 2012 Winnebago One 29L TT. I am looking at upgrading my rims from a 15 to a 16. I am doing this mostly to gain a higher rating on the tire to gain more plies. Does this seem resonable and has others done this to help with the weight problem? ThanksRe: Tire WearBut if you had a bent axle wouldn't that affect both sides instead of just one?Re: Tire WearThanks for the replies. I am still a bit confused on why both tires, originals about 10000 on both, look really great. The other side has had some problems. One tire has only about 3000 on it and is starting to show wear on the inside tread. I blew the other tire coming back from Montana\. This side has both pop outs. I carry all of my drinks under the seats, about 50-60 pounds. I doubt the axles could be a problem, could be wrong, on a unit with only about 9000 miles on it. I travel in high wind areas and tend to keep my tanks full for stability purposes, not a great idea? ThanksRe: Brake ControllerI haven't adjusted the brakes but will do. ThanksRe: Tire WearSo it isn't necessary to block up one side to get level?Brake ControllerI have a Prodigy brake controller that is around ten years old. I didn't have a problem with it til recently. It's not working as well as it should. It doesn't work when the brake pedal it depressed. When I move the lever over you can feel it barely working but not that well. I can hear the brakes on my trailer engage when back by the wheels. I have tried all adjustments but nothing works. Before I could actually lock the trailer wheels up before adjusting them down. The LED readout shows everything is working well. No low voltage or anything. Not sure if I should just replace the unit since it is a bit old It wasn't used for about 4 years or more between trailers. It is just5 strange that it worked well then suddenly not. Thanks
