Don't they still do that as part of the package?Re: KeldermanI did the Kelderman package on my 2011 Coachmen Mirada and was very pleased with the improvement in ride. Now I have a 2014 Tiffin Allegro 36LA and at least for now I am very content with the ride and see no need to go the Kelderman route. I think going from 19.5 inch to 22.5 inch wheels and from a 22K chassis to a 24K chassis made a difference. But if I was seeking ride improvement, Kelderman would be my choice.Re: AntsHere is a formula for preventing ants that I found on a forum (maybe this one) several years ago. I can’t say for certain if it works but I can say I use it and have never had an ant issue. It is non-toxic and actually has a pleasant fragrance which might be why ants don’t like it. I apply it to the power cord at the point where it leaves the ground with a standard trigger 32 ounce spray bottle. • 1 bottle pure mint extract from the spice section • ¼ cup rubbing alcohol • Couple squirts dish soap for adherence • Fill with water • Safe inside and outsideRe: Patriot brakeI’ve used one for 3 seasons and had several 500 mile travel days. Never gave a charging line a thought and never had a problem.Re: My experience so far with selling my RVI sold my 2011 Class A in November of 2012 at a price I considered fair for me and for the purchaser. I bought it in 2010 so we did use it for 3 seasons. I listed it at RVTrader.com where the ad cost me $85, Craigslist and Ebay. RVTrader.com only produced contacts from people who wanted to sell it for me. Craigslist produced 2 sight unseen low ball offers. For me Ebay was the ticket. I sold it after being contacted by a person who saw it on Ebay. But the best part was they contacted me after the auction ended so it wasn’t a true Ebay sale and I didn’t have to pay a fee. Maybe I was just lucky but luck is sometimes what it takes.Re: snow and Ice Around Atlanta , GAMy brother in law who lives in the Atlanta area normally has a commute to and from work time of 1 hour and 15 minutes but on Tuesday it took him 11 hours to get home. Unbelievable. I think we got 3 inches of snow yesterday here in Wisconsin and nobody noticed.Re: Adding an aftermarket air bag system Goldencrazy wrote: I have Kelderman. The bags are large, the leafs are changed as are shocks. It works but costs. I also went with Kelderman on my 2011 F-53 22K chassis with 19.5 inch tires. The air bags combined with the detuned suspension made a significant improvement in the ride and was well worth the cost in my mind. I now have a 2014 F-53 24K chassis with 22.5 inch tires. My only trip so far has been from the dealer to my storage unit which is about 80 miles. My initial reaction is the 2014 rides better being the heavier chassis on larger tires but once properly loaded and tire inflation adjusted accordingly, I will know for sure. I’m hoping I don’t have to spend the money for the Kelderman system but I am prepared to do so again if necessary.Re: Dash mats Dennis4809 wrote: X2 on cover by Josie. Always carry a full set of voltage adapters, ie 50 amp to 30 amp and a 30 amp to 15 amp. You may want to stop somewhere other than a campground with 50 amp service. Just curious, what is a ballpark cost for a covers by Josie for a gas powered motorhome?Re: Supplemental Braking System filadelfia wrote: Do you have to operate the blue ox system 5 times to bleed the vacuum out of the power brake booster? This step is required with the brake buddy system to keep from locking the brakes the first few times the brake buddy activates. Good Luck Don I have the Blue Ox Patriot and I have no idea what you are talking about so I hope the answer is NO.Re: Put away dirtyCall me weird but I like snow too. For one thing it is great for our Wisconsin economy which really suffers during winters without much snow. Plus I love strapping on my cross country skis and hitting the trails. We rented a home with a pool in Punta Gorda Isles for the winter a few years ago. It was my wife’s idea but even she agreed that we missed too much by not being home in Wisconsin. Plus FL was way too crowded for our liking. I too would be concerned about the effects of salt on my RV. My RV, my classic Pontiac and my Harley all stay comfortably stored inside until several good springtime rains wash all the salt residue from the roads. We are on our way back to Wisconsin right now after spending New Years with our son and his family in St Louis. I have seen several snowbirds heading south and their RVs are not pretty from the road conditions.
