I don't know how long it has been like that and obviously I need to replace it soon. Question is what happens when moisture gets down in there? We've had some pretty good rainstorms lately, is there anything else I should check after I replace it?Traveling through Idaho, Utah in Late November. We are moving back to Texas from Calgary and we are scheduled to leave on November 30th to begin the trek from Calgary, Alberta to Houston, Tx. We will be pulling our 36' Toy Hauler. The route we have traditionally taken in the past after entering the U.S. was I-15, 90 to Billings then straight down I-25 through Wyoming, Colorado, Raton, NM and into Texas. We are considering taking a different route this time which takes us down I-15 through Idaho to SLC, Utah, then maybe hwy 6,191 down toward Albuquerque or somewhere else in NM, then over into Texas. I'm worried about the weather traveling through Wyoming and Colorado that time of year and secondly, we have never been to Utah so we though we would spend some time checking that out. Question is, for anyone who has traveled that way, is the weather typically nicer that time of year in Utah -vs- Colorado and do you have any route suggestions to get from SLC to NM, TX which would offer the best roads, fuel stops etc? Thanks!Re: Wildfires in Canada - haze in ColoradoHazy with a strong smell of smoke here in Calgary.Re: Picked up our new THCongrats on the new TH. We have the same unit, has worked well for us so far.Re: Montana to Canada Border Crossing - CouttsI used to live and work at Sweet Grass. Coutts generally is never very busy except for the time around the first week in April when all the Canadians decide to return to Canada at the same time then it can be a long wait time to get across.. Most of the time however its not very busy. Generally the wait time averages less than a half hour to go North.Re: 2013 ON WAY TO ALASKA CG & BD SITES PHOTOS REVISEDGreat photos! Thanks for sharing.Re: Verizon cell phone coverage in BC, Yukon, AKDon't know about cell coverage in those areas but I have Verizon and it works just fine in Canada. As long as you have the North America plan you won't incur roaming charges.Re: 35 ft wheel and on the road campsitesFrom past experience and during our most recent trip up the Oregon Coast, most campgrounds we visited had at least some sites that were large enough for our 36' TH to get into. Biggest issue for us has always been the height of our rig and trying to navigate around some tight areas with low hanging branches. Some of the campground apps are helpful in determining which campground will be the most accessible for us. We also picked up a couple of RV camping guides that were very useful.Re: Shutdown our reservations! I'm an air traffic controller in Atlanta. We're considered essential and have to work but we're not getting paid as of last Tuesday. We've essentially been furlough'ed without pay but still have to work. We've been told we'll get back pay when the shutdown is over. Anybody wanna bet??? I hear ya, fellow Fed here. Also considered essential.Re: Pretty cool TH by a horsetrailer manufacturerIt is nice but it's not a stand up bedroom. That would be a deal breaker for me.
