But I did read the service contract before purchasing it. As a matter of fact I read it way before purchasing my camper so I'd be prepared. So I know what it covers and doesn't cover. I wish I had the ESP on my last two campers as the items that the plan would have covered would have saved me a bundle of $$$ and a bundle of my labor to make the repairs myself. The Esp may not be for everyone, but for me and sure many other RV owners it is worth the investment. We thought it would be good for us. But I should have read it through before agreeing to it. My bad for sure. But I'm a extremely mechanical and work on my own vehicles. So it's not much for me to make repairs on the TT. I've been camping and in RVs for a long time. But I feel I was led on with the whole deal going down. Again, I should have known. Caveat Emptor.Re: Service Plan is worthless and not worth the money.Well, it turned out that I was not diligent in reading the plan. And when we needed it, turns out it didn't cover much of anything. The things that were repaired back in February were only repaired because they were discovered the day we were taking it home. We thought the extended plan covered it all. After that we really learned what the plan was worth. We were also treated differently by CW after this. Strange how CW loves their customers when they are taking your money but seem to change their attitude after. We still have issues with our TT but we are having it repaired elsewhere and not CW. It's amazing how sometimes you get sucked into something like this and don't realize it. Lesson learned for sure. And a costly one too.Re: Service Plan is worthless and not worth the money...Re: Service Plan is worthless and not worth the money...Re: Service Plan is worthless and not worth the money.I will die of old age before Good Sam acknowledges anything. I can send messages to these people everyday for a year and they will still not contact me.Re: Good Sams Extended Service "What a Joke"Good Sam will never contact you. NEVER. I posted nearly the exact same post and was told to message them three times and I did. NOTHING from them. BIG BIG BIG JOKE. We cancelled our service plan. We'll see how long it takes to get our refund for it.Re: Service Plan is worthless and not worth the money. So I am assuming customer service is like the rest of CW, worthless.Re: Service Plan is worthless and not worth the money. jarata1 wrote: Good Sam Care Team wrote: Hello Moore_RVers, Thank you for contacting Good Sam, I apologize for the experience you are having with the extended service plan. I would like to look into this further. Please send a private message with your contact number and the Camping World location you purchased the RV from. Thank you, Ella Good Sam Care Team These are the ones that took advantage of you Yes they are. And I sent a message and wouldn't you believe it, no response. Our next purchase will be from someone else. So may issues with CW that it's not worth any kind of discount, service or warranties.Re: Service Plan is worthless and not worth the money. camp-n-family wrote: And to make it worse you paid for 3 years and are only getting 2 since the first is covered by the manufacturer. Most deficiencies are found within the first year too. We purchased it this year as a used 2016 model. Manufacturer warranty ran out in July of this year.Re: Service Plan is worthless and not worth the money. guidry wrote: Two things: 1. Read everything before you sign it. Most people don't read it and sign it as the finance guy explains it but unfortunately many are taken advantage of (like you). 2. You can get a refund, however, it will be applied to the END of the loan (if you got a loan for the RV. If you paid cash it will be pro-rated and given back (when they feel like issuing a check). Good luck and hopefully you can educate others before they sign. We paid cash for the RV. so we will see how it plays out trying to get a refund.
