Great while they are working, but they don’t hold up.Re: Class A repaint cost any ideas tourusa wrote: My next question does anyone know this model of class a this is I know it’s on a freightliner chassis thanks From the photo I would guess it is a Winnebago or its cousin, the Itasca. But they had several models of both and you can't tell that from the photo. If you call Winnebago with the serial number they may have information for you.Re: Blue Ox Tru CenterI gave up on my Tru-Center years ago when it fell apart and Blu-Ox would not repair it. It was great when it worked but did not hold up to the rigors of the road. Threw it in the trash.Re: HWH customer service phone number is a jokeI read the same complaint about HWH five years ago. At the time I read it, I had an appointment to go to Moscow IA to have an expensive new air leveling system installed. As a result of reading people’s complaints, I cancelled the appointment and never bought the new leveling system. The last thing I need is to have my air suspension system break down somewhere, and be told I’ll get a callback in a couple of weeks.Re: Utah, Highway 12 AdviceIt is a spectacular road that everyone should drive. I drove it in a DP and had no problems whatsoever. The gas powered motorhomes were very slow climbing that hill, but they made it. Do it!Re: Entegra warranty Are you kidding me/ dougrainer wrote: PS, This was years before Thor thought about buying Jayco. One of the things that I thought was crazy---they installed the slide out controls and switches IN THE CENTER BATH. HOW COULD YOU OBSERVE THE OPERATION OF THE SLIDE ROOMS WHEN ACTIVATING? BECAUSE ENTEGRA DP COACHES ALL COME WITH A HAND HELD REMOTE THAT CAN ACTIVATE THE SLIDE OUTS FROM ANYWHERE IN THE COACH OR EVEN FROM OUTSIDE THE COACH.Re: Towing issues with short wheel base motorhome Flute Man wrote: I have never had a problem but on the other hand my hitch mount solid to the motorhome and also soiid to the car. A Blue Ox tow bar. Read the original post. It is about short wheelbase issues. Your wheelbase is likely more than double that of the OP.Re: RVs and California's Planned Power OutagesLiving in Florida, we use our RV as an emergency venue in case of hurricanes. We keep the waste tanks empty, water and fuel tanks full so we can live in it in all its self contained glory. Saved us from installing a home generator as many neighbors have done at a cost of tens of thousands of dollars. There have been times when we lost power for up to 4 days and we were completely comfortable in the RV. Of course it could be longer. We can dry camp for at least 10 days before we would have to find dump and fill facilities.Re: Hard baseball sized "bump" outside RV hootgipper wrote: . (live in SW FL so factory trip is out of the question.) Wrong answer. You have a lot of money at stake. A trip to Iowa would be the smartest thing you could do. If you can’t get away, maybe you could find someone to drive it there for you.
