Not sure how Ford plans to produce this Raptor version when their current production volume can't meet current demand. They did increase the towing capacity by ~1k lbs. Link1 Link2 LOL, its a nice looking ride but $70K? We'll see how that goes over come late summer fall when store brand loaves of bread are $5.50, gallons of milk $6.00, and a dozen eggs $6.50. OF course you always have those with more money(or credit) than brain cells. I'm not 100% feeling those fenders Got that right! Those fenders look like an afterthought. For $70K the Bronco/Raptor should have a Raptor-like wide body not some cheap looking Pep Boys bolt on fender flares. No Thanks.Re: question about towing a 2016 jeep wranglerLate model Jeep JK's make great toads. Transmission: Park. Transfer Case: Neutral. Ignition / Key: Keep it with you. No steering wheel lock. I tow a 2015 Wrangler Unlimited with 2011 Duramax to the dealer for service. Works well!Re: The real HP/TQ numbers this is going to hurt!GM, Ford and FCA Certified SAE J1349 HP numbers would be much more meaningful for anyone interested in a honest comparison.Re: GM's turn in the barrel spoon059 wrote: I have to wonder how much pollution is estimated to come from vehicles, as opposed to chemical companies, power companies, manufacturing, etc. Seems its easier to put strict regulations on vehicles, which may or may not be the primary cause of pollution, and ease up on commercial enterprises. We have gotten to a point where the air is substantially cleaner, and that is something for which we should all be grateful... but to make the regulations more and more draconian doesn't seem like the right way to do it. I find it interesting that the world's 15 biggest container ships create more air pollution than all of the cars in the world.Re: MD trucks 2oldman wrote: You can never have 'too much truck.' My neighbors 2015 Duramax smoked a CP4 with about 50k on it. The Pump itself is very efficient and will make good power, but when they blow its a mess and they send steel throughout the fuel system, both ford and GM, older and new. Knock on wood, my 2012 GMC has a 160k one it, but I really need to get off ass and pull the necessary stuff apart to check for filings before I'm buying a complete fuel system. Why not, just to be on the safe side, replace the original CP4.3 with a new one? Last time I checked new CP4.3's were around $695.00.Re: Other than power, what is 2500 advantage over 1500?Full floating rear axle with 1-1/2" dia. axle shafts, 11-1/2" ring gear on the 2500HD. I think it is over hyped. I was really worried about it on my first trip across Colorado several years ago. Didn't notice a thing and haven't worried about it since. Ask any pilot friends you may know about density altitude and how important it is to them and the performance of the airplane...Es Muy Importante
