It is possible you could have a failed battery isolator. Do you have a Cole-Hersee battery isolator? If so, try a jumper between either battery stud and the alternator stud with the engine running, this will provide field voltage to the alternator. I installed the RK12963 retrofit kit on my Winn filter separator several years ago on my 1998 Monaco Dynasty 8.3L. The kit modifies the existing 90S1230C assembly by using a new Racor S3230P filter element, adding a new metal bowl on the bottom of the new filter, and adds a new high quality water probe which threads into the metal bowl. It took me about 1 hour to do the complete retrofit myself. It keeps your existing reprime assembly. I've been happy with it. I've found the Fleetguard FS19592 filter element as a replacement for the Racor S3230P, as its easier to find and cheaper.301Views0likes0CommentsRe: Suspension bushings
I believe you have the Monaco RR8R chassis. If so, your motorhome bushings are deteriorating (crumbling away), the originals are a three piece design. You can get a new design bushing from Monaco RV, LLC in Coburg, OR. I believe the phone number is 877-466-6226. The new design bushings are a 1 piece design and much improved. The panhard bar and the trailing arms all take the same bushing, P/N 01803668, Bushing suspension cartridge REV A. They are about $17.00 each, you'll need 10 to do the complete rear suspension. The front suspension is the same as the rear. I have not needed to replace the front suspension bushings on my signature rig as yet.277Views0likes0Comments
