I approached a intersection where I was going to make a left turn, I had a green light and committed to make the turn. In the mean time the light turned yellow and then red while I was still making the turn. The highway patrol turned the red light on me because he claimed that my toad did not quit clear the intersection in time when the red light come on. He approached on the passenger side and knocked on the door. Wife opened the door and I stayed in the drivers seat. Police acted kind of nervous and was talking real fast to where I could not understand half of what he was saying. So I told him to slow down and talk a bit slower so I could understand him. He claimed he was hoping I would clear the intersection, but that I had not and he had to do his job. I told him you can not make a turn with a coach like an automobile because things would be flying off the shelves. He gave me the ticket, cost me $580.00 (red light violation). Wow! I'd of gone to traffic court on this one. That's a lot of jack to give in on a traffic light that you entered the intersection when the light was yellow. That's the law here, anyway. Wrong you have to be in the intersection when its green and clear it when it turns yellow(hopefully) If you see its yellow and enter the intersection and then it turns red before you turn your in the wrongRe: A Good Find??? pump-dump-go wrote: I looked at rig today, needs tires, (has originals LOL) slides work fine, no delam, are some water spots around skylite over shower, but none found else where, forgot to check levelers, will do tomorrow. batteries are 6/13, crack in passenger side windsheild, going to have RV guy who is experienced to look rv over, gennie cranks right up and runs fine, basement air cools unit but not cold, dash air not cold, got them down to $14,000. :) that's a great deal at 14K.Re: Grey Water Plumbing Dilemma Sparkie616 wrote: When I drain the kitchen sink in my '04 Fleetwood Fiesta, the water bubbles up in the bathtub. My first thought was that the vent for the grey water tank must be plugged, but I ran some water down that from the roof without any back-up. I've also run a snake through as much of the plumbing as I could (too many 90 degree bends!). I even had a guy come out and try to clean out the whole system, but that didn't seem to help. I've been very careful about what goes down the drain - scrape all dishes and dispose of oil and grease properly. The biggest problem seems to be that the entire plumbing system is built right into the floor; so I can't get at it without tearing up the floor. Anything I've missed??? the bath drain and kit sink drain must be in fact the same line teed together so there must be a blockage after where the two drains join into one. Does the sink drain slowly or normally speed wise?Re: Looking for opinions from diesel experts! mccsix wrote: 6.7 bullet proof, MF run away quick! the nav your referring to I believe to be a very good motor the one bigger I believe there were some problems.I have two close friends with Nav engines in a 2012 Monaco and a 2013 and they both have zero problems with the nav engine. there are hundreds of thousands of NAV engines out thereRe: HWH leveling jacks dougrainer wrote: You can manually open that valve and then operate the pump. That lets you know fluid will flow thru the valve to the jack and you will know it is not a jack problem or hose. IF the jack operates with the solenoid open manually, then you either have a bad solenoid or the fuse for that solenoid is blown. The end valves are the rear and the 2 middle valves are the front. Just open both rear valves and then operate the pump and see if both jacks extend. Doug http://www.hwhcorp.com/ml13514.pdf Re: Air brakes Gator48 wrote: Thanks for the input all. I didn't get a chance to check for air leaks today. Yes I am very gentle on the brakes, mostly using the engine brake then light pedal pressure till stopped. My wife was a CDL examiner, and sometimes it's like being tested. LOL. I think I will also check the slack adjusters as maybe I AM too light on the pedal and they aren't adjusting themselves. I am not against having the brakes looked at, but I would like to exhaust some things I can do before spending the $$$. Dave you actually have a engine brake ?Re: purchase price jwmII wrote: LaMesa RV is a high overhead operation that is known for not always being true to their and their salesmens word. As far as the price it is up to you to make your best deal. As to what to expect, well you know. NOT MUCH. Don't do deposits , money down, etc, until you have everything as you want it. Remember when you drive that new coach off their lot it will depreciate 35-40 %. You know that's really just not true.Lets say a 2015 is $405 retail and u get 30% off so $283K and the next day its worth $170K ?? Depreciation is bad but it would take at least 3-4 years before it was down 40%Re: Anyone remove the catalyst from a Cat C-7? Longroad wrote: It is not a DPF, just a catalyst muffler.
