If you can point me to a thread covering this fine, no need to rehash it. I'm not new to camping or tents and trailers, but I'd like to know what motorhome owners use to "mark their spot" when they leave the park for the day to keep someone from moving into the spot. Also, what are your thoughts on what might disappear while you are gone? I suppose this is a non-problem, but I think it would worry me, Thanks in advance, DonBunk Seal, removing old residueI am trying to replace the bunk seals on an '04 Aerolite Cub. Does anyone know what I can use to remove the old thin foam tape used to adhere the seal? I don't want to scrape it with a razorblade and leave a scratched surface for the the new seal. I’ve tried a heat gun, vinegar, mineral spirits, acetone, alcohol, WD-40, Goo Gone, Goof off, lighter fluid. Using Goof Off, I’ve managed to clean off about 3’ in 2 hours! Got to be a better way. The Goof Off slowly softens the remaining foam into a gooey mess. Scraping and scrubbing eventually gets the down to the glue. More Goof off eventually cleans that off. My google search skills have failed me. Please, ill someone who has successfully done this share? Thanks in advance, DonRe: Handy Hints, Gadgets, Products & GizmosWe bought a "locker organizer" for school lockers and hang it on the end hoop that supports the bed tenting on our hybrid. Could do that on PUP, too. Would also be easy enough to velcro on the wall for bunks. Now I have a place for my glasses, watch, small LED flashlight, etc. I bought a little clock/thermometer to leave in there, so I can check time and temp (don't know why I need to know that in the middle of the night). We leave it there and fold it up with the bed - EZ.
