Either a solenoid switch or solid state isolator. It has been my experience in each class c I have owned, that the solenoid switch failed and needed replacement. That was my first thought, too. Had to replace solenoid a few years ago so I put in another new one.... no change, though.Re: Coach battery not chargingPolarity is (and has been fine) but thanks for the tip...Re: Coach battery not chargingBattery powers the coach fine. Genset puts out power.... Just cant get power to the coach battery for recharging. THanks for the reply BTWCoach battery not chargingI have a 2005 Phoenix Cruiser on a Ford E350. Generator is Onan 4000. Generator runs fine, but does not charge the coach battery, the engine does not charge the coach battery, and plugging the RV in does not charge the coach battery. Only way to charge it is to put a charger on it. (Battery is good, fairly new and once charged holds the charge fine) Whats the common denominator keeping the coach battery from charging? My electrical knowledge on these things is a bit limited.Re: No power from gensetForgot to thank everyone for the quick and (as usual) correct response! It was the breaker on the genset.. I feel dumb for not knowing there was one, but I guess I can be dumb and just rely on help from you folks:) ThanksNo power from gensetWe have a 2005 Phoenix Cruiser MH. The Onan generator has stopped putting out power to the coach. Onan starts and runs great, but no 120V. Plugging into shore power, everything is fine. Any idea where to start looking?Re: Best Pet for travel?Ferrets!! We have four. Don't bark, sleep 20 hours a day and keep the rodent population down.Re: Where do the luxury Prevost stayThey probably stay in parking lot of the stadium they are performing in.Re: Disposal of Gray and Black WaterOne the smartest things we did was have the builder install a dump line in our garage when we built our house, so when traveling I can dump and flush out tanks when we get home. Makes it easier than running a long hose into the neighbors garden in the middle of the night:)Re: Disposal of Gray and Black Water Rwake901 wrote: Sometimes rest stops along the interstate has a place to dump. I've never used one but I think they are free. I know many rest areas in Mississippi have free dump stations. You can also pull into State Parks and use their campground dump stations. Some states may have an entry fee to get into the park, most states do not.
