Stayed for a couple of months two years ago. It is out in the country, little difficult to ride bicycle into town and stay out of traffic. The lots are decent size and good grass. The town had everything and only an hour over to the coast. We had gone to the Tampa Super RV show and got a nice deal on lot rent about half the regular price. We will probably stop in for month again someday. It is a clean nice place.Re: Winter protection for Chicago home?I set heat at 50, turn off water, unplug all important stuff, tvs computer set water heater to vacation. Great tripRe: Brief visit to RGV in JanuaryYou will find openings just about everywhere. We like to stay inland a ways, find Padre nice for a visit but usually windy and cooler than inland. Stay around Donna then it is a short drive to Progreso Mexico.Re: First Time to Florida as a snowbirdWe camped at Tampa RV Supershow last year. That saved us $200 at our next planned reserved stop. They the park we stayed at had a special deal at show. Then we stayed at several parks that where at show advertising deals. Found a place to stay south central FL at over 1/3 off regular price.Re: flooring replacement at QuartzsiteYou could run down to Yuma to RV Decor. RV Decor He put in MCD blinds for us did a good job.
