(figuratively) I pulled into a rest stop that had very long drive thru parking spaces for trucks/RVs. When I pulled in the place was almost full. I parked between two Semis w/trailers. When I parked, I did NOT pull all the way to the front of the parking space. If I had, another driver would not have seen that the space was taken. Thus, the rear end of my camper was even with the rear of the trucks. When I returned from the restroom, the trucks were gone and I looked like I was parked in the middle of NOWHERE! Just sayin' Makes you want to wear a sign with a pic of how it looked when you parked there :oRe: Waiting at the Rainbow BridgeSylvestor June 1989 to September 2007 When I found Vestor, he was only about 10 days old. His momma had either gotten killed or moved the rest of the litter and left him behind. He rode with me on my truck all of his life, and he took me on many adventures playing hide and seek at too many places around this country to list. He always knew when I was tired and driving beyond my limit and would aggravate me to keep me alert. He would get on my pillow and purr me to sleep if I was restless. And he always wanted to taste my food to be sure it was safe for me to eat (that is if he left any)!! He will be waiting for me at my house on the other side along with Tasha, Meikon, Scudder and Satan. I will miss him.............Nina Re: Your RigWOW CHADN!!! Since I travel a lot, I have seen a LOT of strays, and been able to help a few myself. Once I even picked up a coyote on the highway. Unfortunately, he couldn't be saved, but at least he didn't die alone and in pain, but was put down painlessly. It is so uplifting to hear of SO many others willing to go out of their way to help an animal in need.Re: Watching these videos could save your life!As a veteran 18 wheel truck driver, I can say without reservation "EVERY RVer SHOULD WATCH THIS!!!" Some of you may not be aware of a wonderful gadget that you hook up to your duallies that will equalize the pressure of the tires as you are driving down the road and will give you the visual readout of them every time you walk by and look at it. It stays hooked up at all times and you can inflate the inside and outside dual at the same time. This cost is about $55 to $75 per dual, but well worth it in the long run. All major truck stops sell them and they are called 'dual tire equalizers'. They can also be purchased on-line at most major truck accessories web sites. If anyone is interested in more information about them I will be happy to post it. Nina
