We LOVE it!Florida RED Tide at Ft. De SotoGOOD DAY! Hubby & I have had a 2 week September trip planned for Ft. De Soto Campground, for almost 6 months now. They are experiencing VERY HIGH Red Tide, so we are working on PLAN B for where to go & where to stay. WE have not cancelled our original reservations yet and are praying the RED TIDE subsides......we are giving it a couple more weeks Does anyone have any experience visiting the beach shortly after such a devastating event??? Does anyone have any fishing knowledge as far as how long it takes for fish to come back after red tide?Re: Disney Fort Wilderness Site selection and other questionsIf you need help getting around rent a golf cart, helpful in catching the bus! Plenty of parking for golf carts too. We also used a golf cart to take our German Shepherd to the fenced in dog area, dogs are allowed on the carts! They overbooked the premium sites on our last visit, gave us "cheaper options" & site numbers to look at during check in. Kept the premium site, backing in was a breeze! The site was accommodating to our slides too! Your family can visit at FW! Make sure you take your grandchild to the nightly campfire program/sing along! And there is a nightly lighted water pageant on bay lake! Kinda cheesy-but not to be missed! We have ALWAYS taken the free bus transportation to and from parks. Get on the earliest bus in the am! And after a long day at the parks, riding home on an air conditioned bus has always been relaxing! At the FW marina, you can take a boat directly to Magic Kingdom!Re: 2015 GMC Sierra Denali-catastrophic fuel pump failureGREAT NEWS!!! Just picked up our 2015 GMC Denali truck today! Took 1 month for dealer to repair because GM did not know which pump to replace failed Bosch pump..... 100% covered under drive train warranty!!! Dealer says he they repair these all the time! Lessons learned: GM Customer Care is an outsourced, 3rd party vendor....they just refer back to the dealer (which in our case, dealer #1 didn't want to cover repair) Don't give up, just because dealer said repair wasn't covered! Thanks to everyone for input and support! We are lucky we were NOT towing trailer at time of pump failure!Re: 2015 GMC Sierra Denali-catastrophic fuel pump failurePurchased truck from a GMC dealer in Joliet, IL, but we have taken truck in for service, oil changes, etc. to a dealer closer to home. When the truck DIED, hubby was 1 hr away from home. Closest dealer was GM dealer in Morris, IL (also owned by dealer where we purchased). They REFUSED to cover under warranty! Told us it was NOT covered by warranty. This was same thing we heard, from numerous people at dealer, GM Cust Service, GM Cust Service Supervisor, GM rep at Dealer, etc. etc. They were willing to give us "goodwill Warranty money" and charge us around $5500...... UNACCEPTABLE TO US! So we had truck towed to the dealer we ALWAYS have service. They called their GM rep & are covering this under our warranty! After all is said and done, I am sending all dealers & GM a letter. This should not have been this frustrating!Re: 2015 GMC Sierra Denali-catastrophic fuel pump failureAppreciate all the suspicious minds here...nothing fishy, nothing more to the story. Google BOSCH CP4 fuel pump and read the stories..... Not a maintenance issue....... Huntindog said it best, not a GM vs. FORD rivalry. As consumers at the mercy of these HUGE CORP, we are the ones who lose!Re: 2015 GMC Sierra Denali-catastrophic fuel pump failureGM is telling us that this is NOT covered under the 5yr/100,000 warranty. They cannot and will not cover it under this warranty! The dealer we purchased from will not cover under any warranty, but will lower price to $5500.....goodwill warranty money at dealers discretion! We have since had this towed to dealer closer to home, where we always have service done. They are saying , YES, this is under warranty repair! Waiting to hear this 100%, they have only had truck for 2 days.....no fuel in water, no aftermarket modifications.....this was straightforward pump failureRe: 2015 GMC Sierra Denali-catastrophic fuel pump failureHubby out of town, so I thought I would reply..... truck has around 74,000 miles on it, purchased new in July 2015.....towed to a different dealer, waiting to hear their verdict on warranty coverage....I think this should be 100% covered, and am trying to get get covered....talked to GM Customer Care twice-useless! I knew more about the truck. GM Cust Care Supervisor called me yest...."apologized, saying NOTHING they can do" This truck has been 'babied' & maintained, in order to be in the best shape to pull 5th wheel! I have the GM Service Bulletin dated Sept 2014 in regards to this issue with these pumps....we purchased a year later. They knew about the issue in 2014! All of this has been conveyed to GM.Re: 2015 GMC Sierra Denali-catastrophic fuel pump failureNo extended warranty, not covered on drivetrain! Thanks for all the info....still trying to get them to pay for costs! Going to try the suggestion for "goodwill warranty" money as suggested2015 GMC Sierra Denali-catastrophic fuel pump failureHad a catastrophic fuel pump failure in our 2015 GMC Sierra Denali 2500HD Diesel......lost all power steering, brakes, etc. Dealer wants $12000 to repair! When the pump fails, metal shavings go thru entire fuel line, etc After researching online, GM knew about this (CP4 fuel pump) issue before we bought our new truck in 2015! We were lucky this happened at our seasonal campground & not while towing our 5th wheel in traffic. Posting this as a warning to all of you with a GM diesel 2011-2016
