Last long trip prior to that was to SC for the eclipse in August. This summer we may either hit Canada or AK with friends. Limiting factor is granddaughter's wedding in August which I guess we can't miss!Re: Best featuresHaving our own washer/dryer. Size. DW says "Bathtub" is her favorite, along with the bath and a half so we each have our own baths.Re: Aspire vs a phaeton, what do you think? Aspire vs a phaeton, what do you think? Was parked next to a Phaeton for a few days this past week. Owner has done a lot of traveling from AK to the south-east/Florida/Mississippi. He loves his rig, does have a problem (the bathroom wall has broken loose from the floor) and was headed over to the factory to get that fixed. From everything he said to me, he'd buy another one if the opportunity presented itself.Re: 99 ISB, Won’t Start After Filter Change SidecarFlip wrote: There is always starting fluid... I'd recommend NOT trying that.Re: Heart attack,From someone who's CABGx3, Stentx3 (or four, I've lost count...) CHF and a few other things there is life for one who had heart problems. I keep as active as I possibly can, and most importantly: Go to cardiac rehab. Do at least stage 2, and if you can find a way, go with a maintenance program.Re: CB radios, useful or not..Occasionally while traveling, I find it useful. Sometimes trucks going the opposite direction will tell where the problem is, and even recommend a bypass route to get around it. If there's not a traffic problem, I usually just keep it turned off however.Re: Master Brake Cylinder Monterey Bay Cruzers wrote: ... since the brakes seemed fine on our 5 mile trip to the RV park... (were the brakes just hot from the stop and go traffic?) Should we continue on our way home? Our RV is a 1998 Fleetwood Pace Arrow. We only have 23,000 on it. When was the last time you have the brake fluid flushed? This does sound exactly like a moisture in the brake fluid problem... Both of your symptoms (fluid leaking from the master cylinder, soft brakes) match, and as well the fact the brakes worked OK after cooling is another flag that you may need a brake fluid flush.Re: American RV Company has gone out of business. I had bought from them in the past but found both pricing, and more importantly service, mediocre at best. There are plenty of others. The only reason I ordered from them was they (said) they had what I wanted in stock, and no one else had it! I'd have much rather ordered from Amazon, or even eBay... Not one seller had one. Edit: got lucky and found a place on the other coast that had one left in stock. "We have no idea how old it is, but if you want it..." It arrives on Friday! And I don't care how old it is either.Re: Wheel WeightsI've used stick on weights on the inside of the rims and not lost any. Rim must be very clean when installing however. That said, I've never had a tire balance issue on a trailer.Re: American RV Company has gone out of business.UPDATE: Well, ****. Confusion... There are *two* American RV companies, one in Grand Rapids MI, and one (out of business!) in Azusa CA. I'm referring to the one in California, not the Michigan dealer that Camping World bought.
