The amount a dodge, and probably any brand truck, can trailer/pull is a lot more than sticker. The trade off will be how it affects your transmission and brakes. I had an 2005 SRW cummins and the GRAW was 6100#, tires rated at 6300#. With my 5th hooked up I was at 5750# rear weight. But my GCWR was over the sticker by 800#. The truck handled the trailer well enough and stopped it fine. Just took a little longer to start or stop.. Mine was a factory truck, no suspension work or anything else. It did sit down on the overload bump stops, but I didn't feel it differently. Just my .2cents. Thanks,Re: JT's Elephant Foot Jack PadsI agree with the 2x8 treated boards. I cut mine about 24" long. Store flat and easy and it's cheap.Anybody with a 2010 Ram 4dr, dually, 2wd GCVWR specs?I'm considering upgrading to a dually, but I'd like to know what the specs are on your 2010 dodge ram 3500 4dr, 2wd, dually. If you have one, can you take a pic of the door spec sticker or tell me what the front axle, rear axle, and total rating are. The trucks changed a lot from 2009 to 2010 and then the newer 2012's are different too. And I can't find good specs on the 2010. Thanks,
