But before that, I see no problems with lights, whether they are awning, marker lights, solar lights, laterns or whatever. Sorry but I wouldn't turn my lights off before 11pm... I use the 15 amp fuse on mine all the time, (unless I was dry camping) in Canada and the US. I see no issue with it, just as annoying as awning lights, flags hanging all over, golf carts driving around, kids riding their bikes yelling at their friends, laughs around a campfire, a little sign out front of your trailer in the shape of your dog with your last name on it, or whetever else people put up at their camper. Aren't we free to express ourselves and have fun at a campground? I mean after midnight, I'm not concerned about lights when the majority of people are still moving around the campground. We have Rangers that stop all music and any talking above a whisper at campfires after 11:00, no golf carts allowed, bikes must have all the lights / reflectors / bell's just like on the road since the campground roads are considered provincial highways (patrolled by our provincial police) so the kids typically are not out after dark. thomasmnile wrote: Amazing. Haven't found one yet that does not have rules of decorum regarding noise, animals, generators, etc. Still trying to figure out the one guy's response to you that characterized you knocking on a door and asking for a little consideration as a physical confrontation. I don't think it hard to understand how knocking on someone's door after "midnight" could be seen as confrontational. Maybe the better way to handle this would be you using some "consideration" first by not going into someone's campsite "after midnight" and knocking on their door, waking them up, scaring them, or possibly making them feel threatened. If you could wait until you see them the next morning and talk with them about the issue you are having, they might be more receptive to your complaint. I have tried replacing my standard 1141 bulb in my porch light with a 1141 LED replacement bulb but it will not work once I install the LED bulb. I have tried several different bulbs from different sources but none seem to work. I know the bulbs work because they work in my front cap light, that is the exact same fixture but instead of a orange lens it has a clear lens. When I camp I will turn my porch light, awning lights, or whatever light on I wish. I normally will turn them off before I go to sleep but if I leave them on and go to sleep and you are stupid enough to come into my campsite after midnight and knock on my door to tell me to turn off my lights, then you are risking me putting your lights out. You are best to close your shades, close your eyes and go to sleep. And not to mention mind your own business and stop trying to police others!!245Views0likes0Comments
