The batteries are activited when placed on the valve stems, and will last longer if removed during storage. The Duran sensors have saved me three times in the last 20 years.Re: Thousand Trails/Encore Trails Collection info?UPDATE needed: How has the Trails Collection worked in Florida for both last winter and this winter?? How many nites are you able to get at Florida Encore parks here in Florida? thanks.Re: Looking for recommendation for Electric Bikes...UPDATE: Got the the Aventon Pace 500 ebike, $1400, 8 speed, 500wh battery, Class 3 power assist up to 28mph, 20mph with throttle only. They also make a 7 speed for $999. The 8 speed works well with no assist on level ground, nice to have the assist on hills. No suspension fork, but suspension seat posts are available. Using a 9mm chain for security. weighs 52# with added bike rack and small commuter bag. Love the bike, especially for the price and quality.Re: Looking for recommendation for Electric Bikes...Wonderful website for ebikes: electricbikereview.com tons of info on their forum. Geared hub drive motors have less drag for pedal only mode. I learned that batteries can be rebuilt.Re: Looking for recommendation for Electric Bikes...Wanted: relatively light 8+speed battery assist e-bike under $2500. My main concern: 500 watt battery needs to be on more than one manufacturer so can find a replacement 10 years down the road. Anybody know which brands might fit this bill?Roof sealant over existing mastic/caulk??Hi All, I get a few leaks from antenna handle & nearby A/C vent ONLY when it rains really hard. Is there a product that I can brush over the existing roof projection mastic/caulking without the hassle of removing the old mastic (9 years old)?? Dicor or Henry's 885?? Would it stick to the old? Anybody have any luck doing that? I have an EPDM rubber roof.Betty's CG in Abbeville, LAWe stayed at Betty's in 2015 where there was a wonderful daily happy hour that most of the campground folks participated in. Anyone know if that tradition and campground is still going??Re: Thousand Trails/Encore Trails Collection info? Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback. Someday I may have to get on Facebook. Anybody have problems making reservations under the Trails Collection program??Re: camping with CPAP (no electric hookup)I have a 12v. Respironics cpap that I plug directly into a 12v cigarette type outlet that I installed next to the bed. When boondocking, I put water in the humidifier but turn that function off and no problems. It will draw my battery voltage (two 6v trojans)down only 1/10 of a volt, from 12.5 to 12.4v by morning. I do have solar panels that charge those batteries back up to 14 volts by late morning if the sun is shining.Re: Traded in 5th wheel for couples TTLike many, we started small and went around the country twice in a 22ft. TT. But now love the 28ft. Jayco with slide, BUT, somewhat harder to find sites in Natl. parks and State parks, which we enjoy. We don't ever plan to go bigger than the 28ft., but do enjoy the more comfortable space. I spend most winters now in a sunny RV park in S.Cal, while wife has her own 17ft. Casita TT which she pulls by herself since she prefers to travel more in the winter. We are planning one more around the country RV trip next winter in the larger Jayco.
