All u need to do is clean and lightly buff the shine off your nails. Then apply anywhere from 3 to 5 layers if glue. Use the glue dryer after applying all the glue layers. They will be hard instantly. You can then lightly file them to shape and smooth. It is very easy and quick and the glue is not near as hard as acrylic so it takes a minimum of filing and buffing. I follow with a base coat, polish and a quick top coat. As they grow out fill ins are easy. You just have to sort of file off the ridge and then build up a few layers of the glue just in the cuticle area before covering the whole nail. I have some odd dips and twists on my nails and I can easily fill them in with additional layers of glue just in those areas. I do not try to grow my nails as long as I had them with acrylics but they are still way longer than I would be able to have them without. I tried every hardener and conditioner I could find but nothing worked as well as this. Hope this helps and if u want more help just drop me a note.Re: Long term Zep usageThank you for the info! Will go ck out that thread.Long term Zep usageWe have just removed the decals on our fifth wheel and are now in the process of cleaning, compounding and polishing. My question is about using Zep instead of wax. Has anyone used this for several years and how has it performed. How often does it need to be redone, does it yellow and do you have to completely remove it to reapply? Just trying to get an idea of what we are getting into. Thanks!
