Just sold my 2014 duramax and bought a 2020 2500hd 6.6 gas. I pull a 8000 lb trailer. The diesels are ok until the warranty runs out. Then even routine maintenance gets deep in your pocket. I have not pulled with it yet, only 300 miles on it, but I am impressed so far. I have towed with a 3/4 ton GMC 2wd in the past with no problems. The secret I found is to have a locked rear end and to run a good set of snow tires on the rear year round. They will usually keep you from getting stuck on wet grass and mud.503Views0likes0Comments
