I haven't had a single issue with this truck until now. Sometimes the truck sits for a day or so without being used and when that happens it's a "weak" start. It always starts (knock on wood) but the last thing I want is to be on a trip pulling the FW and it doesn't start. There is no code. It has 2 batts and frankly I don't know how to test voltage on a 2 battery setup and voltage isn't always the best indicator anyway. And I do know, if one batt is bad it drags down the other. I've also read that these trucks have had issues with the starters. It's still under warranty and I was told to make an appointment for a diagnostic test. But I trust you guys more than I trust a dealership and thought I'd throw it out there to get your thoughts so they don't brush me off. Also been noticing intermittent hard shifts into 3rd on a slight grade. Again no code, but I have heard there have been issues with these tranny's and intermittent hard shifting. I plan on asking them about it, but again, always worry about an honest opinion from the dealership. They always seem to find stuff when the warranty is over, but funny how they can't find the issues when it's covered. I think you should make the appointment to get it checked out. Maybe they will find the problem and take care of it.Re: Moisture on front areaIf the front storage area is not heated, you might look at putting a vent on both sides of storage area to let the air flow a bit. Either inset in the doors or in the outside walls.Re: Dealer ServicesTell your friend to counter with a two grand lower price and a 6 month warranty. And the cleaning includes washing and waxing the outside.Re: Furnace using too much propaneDon't know but if any storage doors were open or inside vents open all the way it doesn't help. the thermostat only turned down to 65 at night and during the day if the thermostat is calling for heat at times doesn't help either. I can see how the heater could burn up a lot of gas in a night. You could call a mobile repair person to check it if you are not comfortable doing that.Re: No gas to cook topIf in fact you have another regulator just for the cooktop, that is where I would be looking.Re: are there upsides/downfalls to single-axle TT's?Other than room to roam inside the trailer and storage the single axle wins. Being able to get into smaller sites is a big plus. Backing them up is not much different than the larger tandem rigs once you practice a bit. you will have many more sites available to use because the larger rigs won't fit or have room to maneuver the things into the site. tire problems and results happen on either single or tandem. Have never had a single axle try to overturn because of a flat or blowout. If the right floor plan and size for your needs comes in a single axle why not buy it.Re: Door lock not working with either FOByou anywhere near a navy base and they are testing their radar systems? screwed ours up a few timesRe: Best Class A fire extinguisherPlease be careful, unless you catch the fire very early you won't have a large enough extinguisher to put out a fire.Re: Cost of FCC 2-Way-Radio LicenseIf the campground is on one side of the ridge and she is on a trail on the other side of the ridge, good luck.
