Trail-lite 211 b+ transfer switch location
I have a 2003 trail lite r-vision 211 motorhome that I just purchased. The generator wouldn’t start so I had a new carb put on and now it runs. When the mechanic tested the generator he turned on the air conditioner and once the compressor kicked on ac power was lost. He did not have time to dig deeper into the lost power so I thought it may just be a breaker issue. I brought the rv home to troubleshoot it myself and found that now my shore power also doesn’t provide any power to the unit. DC still works but no AC from either the shore power or generator. I had shore power prior to this issue. The air conditioner has worked on shore power before so that unit isn’t the problem. My thought is it is likely the transfer switch but I can’t find it. I followed the wires under the RV from both the shore power and the generator but get lost in the wiring as it goes behind the frame. Does anybody know where the transfer switch is located?
1999 Damon Intruder lost all power
I was on my way back from a long weekend. We were on the expressway and 30 minutes from home. My RV lost all power. The engine stopped, the dash was out, no steering, no breaks, nothing. Doing 55 MPH, I put it in neutral and tried starting, nothing. Luckily, we were able to get to the shoulder and come to a stop. I put it into part and tried to start. Again, nothing. Not even the electric break made noise when I turned on the ignition. Good thing for Good Sam. They arranged a tow truck and brought the RV home. Has anyone had an issue like this? Thoughts?
Hissing noise
Hey so I recently got displaced cause the hurricane and I got put into this small camper with my German Shepherd it's a jayco brand but that's all I know. It has a pop up tent like feature on the front of it. And this runs off a generator also but the noise is coming from the breaker box and when I turn the stove light on it gets quieter...
