Highland Ridge Open Range RV 275RLS
We looked at this 2025 RV yesterday, but the only reviews we could find refer to 2022-2023 RVs. Almost every review grades 2 out of 5 stars for quality and manufacture's warranty. We can’t find any reviews on 2024-2025 models. Is it wishful thinking that these older models were constructed during COVID when everyone was buying an RV and the manufacturers couldn’t keep up, or are the newer models still junk?453Views0likes6CommentsEngine tune ups
I have a 2016 GMC 2500 HD and just did a 'tune up' on it. Tune-ups today consist of new spark plugs and wires ($175) and sometimes new coils ($145). I started my little project at about 1pm and by 5pm I had 5 of them done...OMG, you can't see a spark plug hole to line up the new ones to start the threads. The engineering is not self-maintenance friendly at all. This morning I did the last 3 that took another 2 hours. I am sore, cut up and bruised from the contortions needed to get in position to reach the plugs. Is it any wonder why tune-ups at a dealer or other shop are 500 bucks? After a new air filter the total was $205 and change. Ah yes, the satisfaction of saving 300 bucks and now I actually can tell it runs better. The last new plugs were at 100,000 miles and its at 148,000 now. The plugs were visibly worn (NGK's). Put in AC Delco iridium plugs. (12 bucks each). Oh yeah, don't forget to do the injector cleaner service.....another 289 bucks.2.9KViews0likes13Comments2019 Ram 3500 - dash display configuration?
Hey Ram drivers - I just moved up from my 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 CTD where I have an Edge CTS display to show Boost, EGT, ECT, IAT for towing, to a 2019 Ram 3500 6.7 CTD. On the new dashboards, how do you have your dashboard display configured to show your most important settings/gauges? Thanks! I'm looking to buy a Ford F250/350 as a tow vehicle for my next 5r. I already have a Reese sliding 16K hitch from my previous 5r (Part No. 30051). I also see that Ford OEMs hitches. My question is, if I get the 5th-Wheel/Gooseneck package on the truck, will the Reese slider that I already have fit in the slots Ford puts in the bed for this? The Reese installation manual seems pretty specific on the distance between front and rear mounting plates, etc. I don't want to go out of my way to get this option if the holes they put in the bed aren't usable for the Reese 16K sliding hitch. I know I can just get the truck without the package do an aftermarket install, but the cross-member they add, along with prewiring the pigtail seem worth it -- but only if everything lines up.3.4KViews0likes14Comments
