Or " mirroring" depends on the TV or streaming device you have I have an Apple iPhone and iPad. I can’t remember the brand of TV and im not near it to check right now, but it is a newer smart TV with HDMI connections.Xfinity streamI have xfinity for my home TV and internet. I have an app on my phone and tablet (xfinity stream) that allows me to watch TV on my phone and tablet. Is there a way to connect my tablet to the TV in my RV so I can watch TV on the big screen instead of my tablet? I do okay with tech stuff, but I’m definitely a long way from being an expert. I’m hoping one of you smart guys can help me out.Re: Reese SidewinderI already have the B&W in the most rearward position. And yes my hitch is the factory GM 4 point attachment. This is why I’m thinking the Sidewinder will be my best option.Re: Aluminum Boat above cab and hoodI found a great deal on an Eide power loader with an aluminum rack that came off of the same model truck as mine. Now my concern is the 2 1/2” I lost in clearance between the front cap and the headache rack that’s now mounted behind the cab. I have a standard bed and no slider hitch which at times was tight before adding the rack. I’m leaning towards a Sidewinder pin box to give me some more clearance.Reese SidewinderI have a Duramax standard bed truck that I pull a Grand Design Reflection 337 RLS with. I have a non sliding B&W hitch and have never had any issues with clearance. It gets close occasionally if I have to make a really tight turn, but no problems. I recently bought a rack that goes over the front of my hood to haul my 14’ boat on. This rack has a support that mounts to the bed behind the cab and so I’ve lost 2 1/2” of clearance. Under normal towing conditions I won’t have a problem, but I’m not as confident in tight turns. I really don’t want to go with a slider (too heavy) and so I was thinking of going with a Reese Sidewinder. Does anyone have any experience with the Sidewinder, good or bad? I’d appreciate any feedback. ThanksRe: Aluminum Boat above cab and hoodYes, the kind I want uses a winch to load the boat. You just have to help guide it on. There are lots out there that have the boat over the bed, but I need one that extends over the front hood because of my 5th wheel.Aluminum Boat above cab and hoodI'm wanting to haul a 14' aluminum boat along with having my 5th wheel hooked up. I've seen some racks where the boat loads on top of the cab and extends out over the hood. Usually supported by a goal post of some type attached to the front of the truck. Do any of you have a set up like this? I'm looking into either buying one or making one. Thanks!Re: Grand Canyon RV parksWe definitely aren’t the type of family that hangs out at the RV all day. We like to be out doing things and site seeing. We do enjoy camp fires and playing games in the evening. I’m not sure AZ in July will warrant a campfire, but A/C and games might be in order. We just don’t want to book someplace for a week and after 3 days we’ve done and seen everything there is to do within 30 miles of our camp site. Thanks again for the feedback.Re: Grand Canyon RV parks H E R E - Trailer Village is the place to be, for what you're looking for. Inside the park, full hookups, within walking distance to shops and restaurants, and a shuttle stop at the entrance to get you any place you want to go in the South Rim area. Park and forget about having to drive anywhere. Shuttle can do it and there's no charge. Make reservations as soon as you have a firm date of arrival, and do that as soon as possible, to make reservations NOW so you're more likely to get spaces that are in close proximity. Thanks for the info. My next question is...are there plenty of things do if we stay for a week or are we going to be bored after 2 or 3 days? Trying to decide if we want to stay a week there or stay a few days and then move on to a different location like Bryce National Park.
