My pass thru came with one on the least used end so I added another on the other end. Leave it in motion sensor mode and every time you open the hatch it will go on. I thought about doing a motion sensor. So far these are working great. Thanks!Storage bay lighting2023 Jay Flight 267BHS I wanted to add some LED lights to my storage bay. I also wanted it to be automatic. I found some magnetic switches and LED lights on Amazon. I have one installed. Just need to get the other side hooked up and get all the wiring cleaned up. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8e2d2G7/Re: Black Tank Treatments - Yay or Nay?I certainly appreciate everyone’s comments here and the conversation is very intriguing. Something we all should consider here is the different type of RVer’s. I am very much a weekend warrior (and often months between trips). I can’t help but think a full-timer is going to have a very different approach to black tank use and care vs someone that only uses their camper every other month. I am 1000% in favor of using as much water as you can while using the camper. But if the camper is in storage mode, I feel like a chemical would help with the smell.Re: Extra storage on the tongue. Wheel chocks don’t weigh too much.Re: Black Tank Treatments - Yay or Nay?Thanks to everyone for your input! It’s amazing how we all have different ways of doing!Black Tank Treatments - Yay or Nay?This is two-part thread.... I have been RV camping for most of my life. I can always remember my dad using the old blue liquid in the toilet after dumping the tanks. This what I did once I started camping with my family. How many of y'all use chemicals in the black tank? WHEN do you use the chemicals? I have seen few videos that talk about the treatments becoming inactive after a long period of time sitting in the tank and even causing issues with build-up. My common sense light comes on when I think about adding the treatment before the trip. Also, this is my first camper with a built-in flush for the black tank. Once I am done, do I need to add any water or anything? Thanks in advance!Re: Extra storage on the tongue. That fits perfect! I might have to do some measuring down the road.Re: Extra storage on the tongue. opnspaces wrote: Pretty ingenious idea. On my battery boxes I tool a small piece of black duct tape and plugged those top vent holes. Otherwise rainwater running off the roof fills the boxes up. I definitely plan on filling those holes. I was thinking a 5 min. epoxy would do the trick.Extra storage on the tongue.I saw this on YouTube and I decided to do it. I don't boondock (yet) so I don't need a second battery. I had to move the original battery over to make room but the new box fits like a glove. I will be putting wheel chocks and WDH pins in there for storage. Or anything else that I don't mind getting wet. I drilled some holes in the bottom to let any water out (on both boxes).Re: Small changes to the interior of the new camper! opnspaces wrote: I love the curtain idea. Did your trailer have a door at all for the spot the curtain covers? My older Jayco 27H has a sliding accordion door that broke years ago and I've been wanting to find a way to fix it. Your idea is perfect, I'm going to copy it rather than try to fix the old door. No door. Just open to the bunk and sink. The toilet and shower are behind a door, however.
